Had this charger on my wishlist waiting for a decent price drop and it's lowest price ever according to camels. Already have one in living room and I'm quite annoyed with using charging cable in bedroom. It have 3 coils and charges really fast. Great bonus is an option to use it as a neat stand when you watch something on your phone. I can recommend it based on my personal experience

Perks of prime account that you could return your holder if it's from Amazon.

Looks good, with 3 coils for better coverage too

Seems perfect for my s6

Is it better than samsung latest fast wireless charger?

Will this work with the Note 7 ?

note, the power output would not suffice quick charge as its output is only rated at 1A. Need more juice if it was to support fast charge.

same as samsung then

looks good value looking for one for my lumia. Is this one any good

Fast chatgers normally output 1500 - 2000ma. Do not see how this could fast charge. I bought a pad with 1500 ma output on ebay for 99p from a UK seller. Although he said it would not work with my S7 Edge, I took a gamble and it amazingly works.

This guy always says it is the last one but I have purchased 2 from him (each time as the last one on the listing) and my colleague bought one too (her one is yet to be delivered as she ordered it today).

Personally wouldn't risk cheap charger or pad with expensive phone

what's this for? Also for iPhone?

What's the difference between 3 coils and single coil? 3 coils will work better? Anyone know please.

It only work for android phone according to the description

I've tried a few of these via amz reviews, all worked great so far paying roughly £4 a pop.(even the fast chargers)

iPhone too rubbish to support wireless charging.

Yawn. I was waiting for the immature insecurity to surface.

If anyone can give me a sensible answer would be appreciated.

I got one of these as a present for my sister. It works great and is really useful as it is a phone holder as well as a wireless charger.

It's about placement, so 3 coils mean that at least one of them will probably line up with the coil in your phone no matter what position you place it in.

Your question is slightly off topic but here's the low down....

iPhones do not currently support native wireless charging. You need to buy an adapter or case that you attach to the iphone, then you can buy a wireless pad/stand/dock.

With a single coil charger the receiver in your phone has to line up exactly with the coil; but with a 3 coil charger you can just place the phone anywhere on the charging pad.
Another thing to bear in mind is that this type of charger requires a minimum of 1A input, so you will need a charger with at least 2A output. The chargers supplied with mobile phones do not reach that requirement.

1 thing to note is that the phones get really hot while using wireless charging which can reduse battery life in the long run, the samsung official wireless fast charger has a small built in fan and from experience i can tell it makes a masive difference when using fast charge not sure if this one will have anything similar

Ordered one yesterday & it arrived today we like it so much we have ordered another one. Great find thanx OP heat from us8)

this will work on Note 4?

Samsung ones are 2A.

Current "wireless" chargers are just a gimmick.
The issue of wired charging is that it restricts the ease of use of our phone, i.e. its tied to a wire and restricts movement. All these "wireless" pad chargers do is restrict movement further, because unless you lift the dock/pad with your phone, you need to let your phone sit on it while you use it.

So in fact, wired charging is actually better than current "wireless" chargers, because you can use your phones more easily while charging.

True wireless charging (i.e. phone charging without being in contact with anything and allowing free movement) will not arrive anytime soon, but don't buy into this gimmick which is essentially a step backwards.

Whilst I agree with your comment in some respects I'd also like to point out that wireless charging has some positives.

For anyone with a fine motor skills impairment Wireless Charging is essential. It allows easy charging without having to put a cable into a very small hole, only to find out that you have put the cable in the wrong way round (excluding USB C).
