Ditto, I've got a white one for my gold s6 but I would prefer gold.

I use mine every night, much easier than fumbling with usb cable + eventually wearing the port out (as the port did on my M8 after 18 months)

WARNING! This is not the fast wireless charger for the S6/S6 edge. That's much more expensive - this is the cheaper, outdated slow wireless charger that goes for even cheaper elsewhere.

It works fine for other Qi charging phones, but won't charge your S6 (edge) quickly.
what is the fast with charger of which you speak?
link?
I got a fast charger wireless one for £8 delivered from a chinese store. Probably fake but it works and charges fast.

The amazon one is 2 amp so will be fast charge.

I bought one last week but was disappointed that it didn't come with cable or adapter which kind of defeats the object of me buying it to charge phone at work. So it's now plugged into my work phone charger and charges at normal speed.

Just something to be aware of
Great deal! Picked one of these up a few weeks ago, works great with my Edge+, although I'll be looking to upgrade to a fast wireless charger soon!
this isn't a deal.. cheap equivalents for <£5 work brilliantly
£16.95 to do the same thing that magical cable it comes with for free does.... I suppose shedding that 3 seconds of 'plugging it in' time makes it worth it
my colleague ordered a chinese one, works amazingly well surprisingly also works through a case, these samsung ones (i have got one) are really bad even without the case on takes a good while to place it right, and makes the phone heat up a lot, unless mines faulty its weak and useless
Will I be able to use this on a Samsung S5 by using in conjunction with an S5 Wireless Charging Receiver: amazon.co.uk/Qif…3_2
Anyone had experience of this S5 wireless charging kit: amazon.co.uk/Wir…FRF

Better then Samsung original?

Of course it's a deal for an original device.
I suppose you weigh in with the same argument about iphone 6p v Moto G.....
or Poundland iphone cables compared with apple store ones.

Does this work with any phone that charges wirelessly? Or it is 'tuned' so that it only works with Samsung devices?

I'm always astonished at the response to wireless chargers on here.

Yes that 3 seconds (less than that really) is worth it, even if you spend £16.95 which you probably shouldn't.

My experience in real life use is that you keep your phone topped up more because charging it is the same as just putting it down. No messing about with USB cables, no messing with your USB port, much easier to respond to texts etc because you just pick the phone up...

You can reduce anything down to make it seem like nonsense, but now I would be unlikely to get a phone without it.

Hi, they're OK. I had one a while back before I upgraded to an S6. The only issue really is the bulk they add when you place the receiver in the phone. They're not perfect at connecting either.
Also available for £16.44 delivered via Amazon seller Deeha Traders (listed on RHS):

I need to get one of these but don't want to pay 60-70 on one but would like a Samsung one as I've had issues with cheap brands affecting my phone.when people say these are slow how slow are we talking?

Each to their own. The only 'practical' sense I can see for these are when car manufacturers start including them built in. At home/work you are still restricted to be near a wall socket regardless of whether you can dump it down or not. Phones are very useable when plugged in charging.
I 'm curious how efficient these are - I suspect not very?
If it was not for the fact I already have one I would not buy one or recommend it. Every time I want to put my phone on charge is normally as it don't have a lot of charge in it and this is so slow I just plug the USB in the phone.
I would recommend getting the wireless car mount though as that is so simple just put the phone in place and no fiddling with cables in the car.

After replacing usb ports on a Hudl, a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 4 phone, I would always choose a wireless charger, regardless of the speed. All that plugging and unplugging will eventually damage your £500 phone. So practically it's ideal for overnight charging.

cos its optional? sticking cables into potentially wet items isn't a great idea

Often you think something is pointless and then you use it yourself or your circumstances change and you wish you had one. I'm an iPhone user so not an option for me. And up until a year ago didn't give a hoot. As you suggested I could only see them being useful when they became integrated into everyday things like the car, coffee table, sofa, etc...

Then we had our first baby and all of a sudden I'm using my mobile more. Just not as much time/freedom to be on the laptop. Where I used to easily make the day with charge left, now the mobile is generally on its last legs. Worse still at night I use it to read as it doesn't produce as much light (disturbing the Mrs who needs her sleep now). And trust me gets fiddly with a cable trailing. Worse still sometimes I put it down for a min, fall asleep and wake up to find its not charged In short I'd happily pay £17 if Apple did one.

So you can get a part in the next James Bond movie as Gold Charger, maybe?
Or those with a bit more £ and/or wanting this incorporated into some furniture might like Ikea's wireless charging range:
Does it work with a LG G2?

Does it work with a LG G2?

unfortunately no, LG g2 does not feature wireless charging
Have a pad for my old Lumia 920 (with appropriate wireless charging case etc) ... seemed like a good idea... sometimes the phone would not quite be on the pad properly (off centre etc) and the phone wouldn't charge. In the morning I'd wake up to a dead battery! Gave up the second time that happened :-\ maybe I'll give it another go on my Nexus 6 as micro USB ports seem to wear out after around 18 months in my experience...
The more expensive and new fast charge only work with the S6 and the new note, also has a small fan built in, as the standard charger in these wastes allot of energy into heat and the fast charge even more so.

Find it crazy people will pay £100s for a phone then risk blowing it and the house down with some dodgy copy.
Need to buy a gold s6 first; looking for a good deal........
