Ooh, need another one of these. I use it in my teenagers bedroom to alert him from the kitchen that it's time for beakfast/tea. He never hears me call, or so he claims. They work well through 2 stories of my old house with solid walls, so must be a good strength signal. Need another for teen #2...

Good idea, 3 stories house here, kitchen downstairs, may save my voice with one of these in place. Voted hot.

You'd really like the Google Home speakers. When you have 2 or more in the house you can talk to one speaker and it will replay what you said to all other speakers in the house.
Plug in? :/ so have to have it on 24/7 wouldn’t it be cheaper for battery powered?
36 sounds, not 52, brilliant value for money and works well!
Dilly ding, dilly dong.
The last one I got from Lidl was awful. The rang was pitiful and it kept losing connection. In the end I binned it and bought a TeckNet one off Amazon for about a tenner and 100x better.
I have a Lidl doorbell now but could do with a bigger one.. chortle chortle

What saved my voice was using a leather belt! I no longer need to call anymore, they just know.

Leather belt more expensive than a door bell now:). But can be used for other purposes as well, so may worth investment for future (children only 3 and 4 now).
