I think its just the bit of card that you can write your name on and put in the bell push button.
Thanks for posting OP, just what I was looking for.......Great Price
Good for if you want to know when someone's at next door's door
Nice find
I purchased this door bell today, works nicely, really good value for money

I have two of these I bought a year and a half ago and they still work.

How load is it?
Been after one a while but a lot of ones in Argos say they're not that load. Odd problem I thought for a doorbell.
I got one of these a while ago the are good and loud but batteries don't last very long 2 - 3 months.

Not sure how they loaded them, are you asking how they loaded them or unloaded.
These are a lot better quality than the 2 quids ones on ebay. You just have to remember to change the batteries. And if you're getting the ring from next door's doorbel, just change the frequency

took me a minute to work out. i think he means 'loud'
Load. LOL.

Is it B, G or N?
Does it support IPsec NAT traversal?
I think ours is haunted - disconnected it a year ago and it still goes off by itself!
nice
Does anyone know if these will work through PVC doors? I have a PVC porch door and PVC front door and have not managed to find a wireless doorbell with a strong enough signal that can pass through both of them.

The one I posted a link to on Ebay works with the switch on the front door and the doorbell upstairs outside a bedroom so pretty strong signal. I haven't tried this one from Lidl though.

In what way? The electronics inside are probably the same and the one I got on Ebay costs less than half the price. For £7.99, I suppose this is still a good price for what it is though!
Paid £40 for a good quality one from argos for my hard of hearing dad. Unfortunately a complete waste of money. If the signal has to pass through 2 or 3 doors, they all ( at least the ones ive tried) appear to struggle & are not reliable.
Answer for JOSHM74's question - yes it works through the two double glazed pvc doors that I have in the entrance of my house, just to further answer your query I have taken the bell to middle of garden, roughly 45 meters from the front of the house, bell is loud and clear.

The Main unit is compact and can be moved to anyones personal choice, which is good benefit, this feature may be useful for EZZWALD'S DAD.

I partially agree with ABS_HULL QUOTE - that yes battery consumption will affect the performance of the doorbell after few months have passed but this problem can be solved if you check and replace battery now or then or better use the chargeable battery.
Lol just read my messge and I was like 'what?' - sorry was really late.
Yes loud!
have one. And don't think it is that loud. loads of different tunes though
Don't like the button, otherwise good price! Tepid for me
How often do you need to change the batteries on these things? months, weeks or years?

It depends on how popular you are but the batteries don't last any longer than a few months.
Can anyone tell me if I can extend the use of this kit by adding on an extra much needed receiver.
If it is possible - then where can I actually obtain an extra receiver from?
So far have not been able locate a site that has them (If they exist at all to use with this kit anyway!)
May have been better to buy a Byron or similar popular set - Pay much more but add-ons are easily available,
but at a rip-off price of course, to get what I need!
Should have checked this out before buying from Lidl's I guess!
