[SIZE=2][COLOR=red]UPDATE: 17/08/2006: This headset is a made for Poundland. Although the Quality is good (in fact bargain if you buy from Poundland), Savapoint is conning customers by offering this for FREE and then charging £2.99 postage.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Can these be used away from the home.I.e. as a portable radio.

Oooops, Yes you are right Edi.
My Order came to £20.97, two of the Cordless headphones and one of these Universal Headphones.
Still as you say, excellent stuff for £2.99.

Thanks dino

You didnt add the image tags dino. [img]link[/img] should get the image right

Quidco is now added to the OP.

Did anyone order these? The ones I got don't match the picture and are poor quality. I'm going to be returning them unfortunately.
Nod

I ordered but ain't got yet.

What a waste of money and a pile of junk.
Sent in a jiffy bag, they look and are cheap and very tacky.
Going back as soon as I get it sorted.

I will never spend another penny with Savapoint.

Dino,

Just received my FREE headset with mic. Guess what ?

POUNDLAND product for which I spent £2.99 in postage :x

http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/9924/0001050128232619tnqk6.jpg

I found that with Savapoint. Even the cd's/DVD/s they have for £2.909 postage just come in a cardboard case, not a jewel case or dvd box.
Very cheap and tacky.

Original Poster

Sorry it isnt POUNDLAND type product.... It states [COLOR=red]POUNDLAND on the pack[/COLOR] with Poundland Postal address.

As a loyola customer, I was given a [COLOR=red]GIFT[/COLOR] which was from Poundland and I paid £2.99 postage ... Its cheating...

What to do now ? Any ideas ? :x

I know what I'm doing, but I cannot say on a public forum.
Did anybody have to 'sign' for this junk

Get ya dino.8-)Like it.

mine came this morning, they are terrible cheap looking and very different from the picture. Not a happy bunny. That's the last time I use Savapoint, didn't even track in quidco.:x

They don't appear to have the extra cable with microphone as described - so that and the fact they don't match the web picture must mean we can return and get refund I'd imagine.
Also - haven't really investigated - but I get the impression that you need to use a sender per headphone unit - ie I can't plug in the sender to the car dvd and have 3 boys uses 3 pairs of headphones.

I did at least get my quidco ...

cheers
Nod:(

Welcome to HUKD Jackforever

I agree nod, but it will cost you a couple of quid (about £4) to send them back because you will need to use R/D. You will also need to contact Savapoint for some kind of returns address and returns authorization number.
A lot of hassle, but on the other hand if you did not receive them in the first place you could ask for your money back or a replacement.

[SIZE=2]Doesn't make Savapoint look good either does it. Hopefully they'll offer a full refund or suitable alternative.[/SIZE]

I see they've corrected the image on the website now - I rang after 6 but no reply - sounds like I need to ring during the day to arrange refund.
Nod

Got mine today too, just awful. I'd like a refund but don't waant to pay half the price of the headphones to send them back. If anyone gets in contact with savapoint tomorrow can they let us know what the situation is on this.

Hi, i got through to them and they said you dont need the return number as its a novelty item, they said to return the item with a letter telling them why you're returning it and the copy of the invoice to the address stated on their website

Welcome to HUKD nabz

Thanks for the feedback. I think you still incurr between £3-4 postal charge to send back the item worth £8, which they wont refund.

Welcome nabz.

Don't forget that the Royal Mails PiP starts Monday and this piece of junk will be classed as a packet. If you are just going to send the 'free' headphone thingy back that alone will cost you £1.09 plus 68p Recorded Delivery. I highly recommend using R/D. Anyway, that's just under £2.00.

I have not used Savapoint for a while now ... all because of the way they dispatch the goods ... always just stuffed into a Jiffy bag. Not packed correctly at all - I had to return a few items that arrived damaged due to poor packing. It is a pity though. ... as their prices are quite cheap and their website looks professional .. shame the packing of goods lets them down!!

Well, it's good to get feedback about retailers, no matter if it's good or bad. HotUKDeals is not here as an advertising forum, it's a consumer forum, and feedback means a lot.

Cheers dtc, and welcome to HotUKDeals. Hope to hear more from you
