Wolverhampton store, quite a few on the shelf.

can you tell me if you can have multiple ringers on one door bell (so I can have one upstairs as well as down)? Some do, some don't.

I think they have a choice of 6 different tones

i think each door bell is uniquely coded, so i doubt you could have 2 chimes on one system.

it's pretty basic and the chime are a bit crappy. turn it on it's side and it's like a cylon though

sorry, don't mean ringers as in the sound of the chimes, I mean the boxes themselves. So if I buy two I can use both on one doorbell. It's actually for my Mum who can't hear too well and having two boxes would help her to hear the door wherever she is in the house.

oopse, thanks Gerg!

I paid £15 for a Homebase one the other week, then got a refund because it didn't work. Aldi also do one for £6 if you don't have an Asda near you.

Whats the LED part?

Would recommend one that plugs in cos these tend to eat batteries

the ]solitary review at the Asda website product page states:
"Frequency interferencea serious problem where units close together".
although the context of the review is not clear (i.e. a thought / belief, or actual experience)

I have one of these.
I live on a terraced row, when next doors bell is pressed my doorbell goes off (theirs doesnt aparently), also happens when 2 houses across the roads doorbells are pressed (plays their chosen chime through my doorbell)

Cheap for the money though (if you dont mind going to the door to find noone is there!)

couldt find one at asda pudsey

I havent seen these but i presume it means that there is a LED that lights up when you press the doorbell. This shows the user that the bell is working and actually ringing inside..

You can with the cheap Wilko ones (I think you select from 3 codes) so probably on this one too.

the cheap ones like this are a poor investment. car remote fobs can set them off, this model chews batteries, sound quality is poor. do yourself a favour - go buy some plug-in mains ones.
