This sounds and looks like the most dodgy program in history

Lifetime use for free. Wouldn't trust it.
Just like lifetime VPNs.
And with wording like 'dead easy' it doesn't sound very professional
You do like your freebies hey @Apundir !!!!

Have some heat!
This Pro version can't be updated. Installed it, immediately prompted for update and then said that this can't be done, but you can always pay for it!
Just use the free-but-limited version instead.

I think it is the same with all the "giveaway" pro / plus / exclusive versions on all these freebie sites, one time install, no updates and if you uninstall it or move to a new hard drive, will not reinstall, but then again, it is free I guess!

going off PCs and laptops and portable screens these days. The Internet is not working out well as self policing. Still, there is music and clean videos - like thatsus
I just use malwarebytes, easus todo backup free, C~Cleaner, Zoolz, and cloud store

If your main PC system drive is a hard drive, you might benefit from Ultradefrag. The free version looks less heavy on your drive's mechanics and life . I remember it being very good at what it does (NDD perhaps for NTFS etc).
I wouldn't run it on a schedule or on storage drives unless you are a home enterprise. At least, not too often!
No idea why the link from the main site is x86 and the linked amd64 package above is portable. Sign of our times, perhaps?
Defragmentation seems to be better than optimisation (even that described as fast) in the software
also worth including the exception criteria in the config file:
exclude_archive = 1
exclude_audio = 1
exclude_disk_image = 1
exclude_video = 1

When you delete system temporary files it actually slows down the pc because it needs to recreate all this files again. Your best off just not using any of these programmes. There is a setting built into windows 10 that makes windows automatically monitor and deleted temporary files.

Where is the setting... that you speak of ....or do you mean it's an automatic setting.... Why are the sys temp files recreated again ? if there is a way to delete them, why not do it ?

Having just tried Wise Care on my new Dell Laptop ....I find the CPU %/use a lot better....

i've been using the program for well over a year and paid around £16 for a LIFETIME licence. 'dead easy isn't a WISE CARE description but of the review site giving away the FREE version and while LIFETIME can be a grey area, i have numerous software that is LIFETIME, regardless of version number. it pays to be savvy

it could be this. only noticed it a few days ago.
i found the temp folder didn't always get emptied unless you performed a manual Disk-Cleanup on C:\35607683-kPpHT.jpg

I've used this, it does a good job. If you've got the latest hi spec hardware you're not gonna need it but put it on an old lenovo laptop and you'll notice an improvement.
