The Witcher 3 Game Features:

  • Play as a Highly Trained Monster Slayer for Hire Trained from early childhood and mutated to gain superhuman skills, strength and reflexes, witchers are a distrusted counterbalance to the monster-infested world in which they live. Gruesomely destroy foes as a professional monster hunter armed with a range of upgradeable weapons, mutating potions and combat magic. Hunt down a wide variety of exotic monsters from savage beasts prowling the mountain passes to cunning supernatural predators lurking in the shadows of densely populated towns. Invest your rewards to upgrade your weaponry and buy custom armour, or spend them away in horse races, card games, fist fighting, and other pleasures the night brings.
  • Explore a Morally Indifferent Fantasy Open World Built for endless adventure, the massive open world of The Witcher sets new standards in terms of size, depth and complexity. Traverse a fantastical open world: explore forgotten ruins, caves and shipwrecks, trade with merchants and dwarven smiths in cities, and hunt across the open plains, mountains and seas. Deal with treasonous generals, devious witches and corrupt royalty to provide dark and dangerous services. Make choices that go beyond good & evil, and face their far reaching consequences.
  • Chase Down the Child of Prophecy Take on the most import ant contract to track down the child of prophecy, a key to save or destroy this world. In times of war, chase down the child of prophecy, a living weapon of power, foretold by ancient elven legends. Struggle ferocious rulers, spirits of the wilds and even a threat from beyond the veil -- all hell-bent on controlling this world. Define your destiny in a world that may not be worth saving.
  • Fully Realized Next Generation Built exclusively for next generation hardware, the REDengine 3 renders the world of The Witcher visually nuanced and organic, a real true to life fantasy. Dynamic weather systems and day/night cycles affect how the citizens of the towns and the monsters of the wilds behave. Rich with storyline choices in both main and subplots, this grand open world is influenced by the player unlike ever before.

Developers take note, this is how you release and support a game. I have purchased Witcher 3 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC purely to support the developer and will do the same for Cyberpunk 2077 - without hesitation.

Bethesda could learn a lot from them.
That’s a lot of game for the bucks
Will always vote hot for witcher

Don't forget the switch edition coming out at the end of this year.

What if it was listed at £45?

Without hesitation, if there was ever a game fully worth the standard £50, it was this game. To me, if Cyberpunk is released anywhere near as good as Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red will be up there with Rockstar amongst best gaming studios.
Isn't this 7 quid on the ps store?

The majority are all free outfits, language packs etc. The main, big two are in the season pass, but they’re like games of their own. Worth every penny!

No playing it for long enough. I did the same thing but very recently gave it another go and got into it. You need to wait for the game to open up a little. It sounds bad but it is a bit of a slow burn at the start. I think it’s worth giving it the time. But it took around 10 hours before I felt like I had my grip on the game and it really started to get fun. It’s up to you if your willing to push through a slow start to hopefully start enjoying it.

Cool, that’s really useful thanks. Will stick at it

You can watch a quick recap video of the previous games on YouTube to catch up
best £12 you will ever spend, incredible 100+ hours and still play it just to take in the scenery and music. Great deal
Not just the best game I've ever played but probably the best piece of media (film, music etc) I've ever consumed too.

It's like the Avengers, you don't have to watch every single Marvel movie to understand it and have fun, but to truly enjoy it you do. The same goes for Witcher franchise. If you have a chance to play previous games go ahead, the first one with the white wolf mod may not be the best game out there, but is still a good piece of video game, combat system sucks though. The second Witcher is pretty short, about 20/30h but it is worth playing and both of these would cost you like £5 together. You can jump straight to W3 if you don't really care bout thing like why Geralt's relationship with certain characters is the way it is, or in general who some of those people in game are or just like Sam2xp suggested "you can just watch a quick recap video of the previous games on YouTube to catch up". The game was made so you and everyone can play, understand and enjoy it, so do not worry and just get into it. It's worth it.
