The deal here is more in the extended warranty on offer . . .Good reviews and energy rating as well.

The Miele WDA210 has been tested to provide years of use and will deliver an outstanding performance. It comes with a 10 year full parts and labour warranty, so you can relax knowing you’ll get superb results for years to come. Integrating a slanted fascia with a large display, this clever appliance includes advanced features like Delay Start, which allows you to select exactly when you want the cycle to begin, so you’re always in control. What’s more, the handy display will tell you how long the wash cycle has left, so you can get on with your day. Producing superb results in only 20 minutes, the Express Wash 20 feature is perfect if you need a quick wash that produces impressive results of small loads.

The WDA210 integrates Miele’s honeycomb drum, for exceptional clothes care. Creating a thin film of water, the honeycomb drum cushions your clothes during the wash cycle and protects your garments from the damaging effects of spinning. This washing machine boasts the highest energy efficiency rating of ‘A+++’, so you can be kinder to the environment and your bills. Low decibel levels also help this washing machine to be as gentle on your ears as it is on the environment, meaning the only thing you’ll notice is the first-class results it delivers.

a damn sight cheaper than this but thats a perk of her job and not a general price to the public

£839 from AO.com using code MEGA40. Great machines though, we love Miele, won't get hot here though regardless of price X)

24p a day for 10 years. Think about that. 24p a day.

A Freddo bar is 20p, a Twix 60p, a bag of Walkers crisps 50p.

Who says you can't justify spending that money?

Supposing Miele go bust in 2 years , what then ??
A machine for a couple of hundred is just as good and you can a new one more regularly

They could, but been around since 1899 so they must be doing something right.

Depends how much you like filling your house with ****, I suppose. Miele make quality machines which look good, are nice to use, and are built to last 20 years. I like that.

Why are you supporting and encouraging a throw-away society?

If Miele go bust after 2 years, you're still left with an excellent washing machine that will last longer than a car might do.

We inherited our Miele washing machine when we moved into our house, and it's been going strong for 8 years now. I have no idea how old the washing machine is though.

Hardly likely with a €3 billion turnover and rising is it.

did you ever think, woolworths, comet etc would go bust ?

Fantastic machines, wouldn't buy anything else.
One of life's mysteries why most people would rather spend £300 every few years than £800 every 10 ( maybe 20) years.
