Fakespot gives it an F rating claiming high review deception, and reviews meta a 4.5. Great price, but when you are literally putting your life in the hands of something, getting a safe and quality product is vital in my opinion.

I don't think the price is stand out enough to go for it. The other problem is that most of the products on amazon like this look identical, just with different branding.
Are these the ones that spontaneously put themselves away while you're 20 feet up?

Exactly, it looks identical and the product and company has better reviews.
Trigger pulled. Cheers.
I have one of these I've been using it for a year. It's not the most stable ladder in the world as it's quite wobbly, but otherwise I've had no issues

I never knew about the fakespot site so thanks for that - any idea how it works - in other words how do I know who to believe (life is so confusing at times )??
Great find. Shame it doesn’t work on the longer version.
Any thoughts on these or the DICN posted above?
Would anyone trust the reviews? Does it really have EN sticker thingy? I need one but not if not safe
No EN131 safety norm, might be a health hazard, might not.

Ok deal. Be careful I have these and whilst useful I nearly had a serious accident.
Looks like too many dodgy reviews to be any good. The real reviews (with pictures, good descriptions and real English) seem to be that this breaks easily. I was looking at this the other week and decided against it. There’s a video too somewhere, showing how unstable this is

How many litres per 100km does your car use?
How far is your work from your house?
Which size carton of milk do you buy?
Does your wife prefer inches or centimetres?
For anyone considering this ladder, and whether the reviews are genuine or not, I own this ladder and it’s my review you’ll find in the top reviews at the bottom of the Amazon page (Craig Laws, top 50 Amazon reviewer and Vine Voice). I’ve had this ladder for a couple of months and spent quite a lot of time up it replacing CCTV cameras, attending to drain pipes and replacing some guttering only this weekend. I’ve been very impressed with it and have faith in its performance. It does flex as you can see in my photos, and I’m around 11 stones, but I feel as safe up this ladder as I’ve ever done on any other ladder. If you’re going to spend a lot of time working at height then a more traditional extension ladder would be more suitable, but if it’s for the occasional job and you want it stored out of the way when not I’m use then I highly recommend it.

B: 1.5km
C: 2l
D: she is satisfied with my 28cm love muscle

Thanks, interesting website, I've tried a few products as it seems as per predicted (some fake some real). Does it include searches where item has been changed completely? Screen protectors are notorious for these.

The secondary problem is sellers pretending they have x branded, list on popular but actually is a fake (eg sd cards, branded power tool accessories).

On the other topic would you really be wanting a nobrand ladder on heavy discount? Probably alarm bells on how can they make it this cheap in the first place, they probably can't to normal expectation.

I end up spend more time verifying/worrying if it's fake/legit than the actual item price on amazon...

Think of two people you know - one that is 5 foot, another that is 5foot 6. Imagine the one is stood on the others head.

These are the ones unfortunately. A friend of mine was on top off one and it collapsed with him on top.
Nothing against this manufacturer in particular, but bear in mind that using telescopic ladders in a lot of construction companies in the UK is banned.

That’s enough to put me off, even at 3m a fall would be bigger than a sore head or bruised thumb, I’m out.
Imagine if it was another 1 or 2 m higher ?
Canny price to be fair, just not safe enough.

Fakespot is fake.
Anyone who relies upon them is naive beyond words.

https://www.tradingstandards.uk/news-policy/news-room/2017/warning-after-safety-tests-lead-to-over-32-000-telescopic-ladders-being-withdrawn-from-sale

The trading standards link mentions the BS EN 131 standard.
It strikes me if the trader had confidence in it as a quality product they'd want to scream it from the rooftops that it complied with the British Standard.

A quick search on Amazon shows a range of telescopic ladders claiming EN 131 compliance:
2.6m for £37
3.2m for £45
3.8m for £55
5m for £80

Another brand includes stabiliser bar (to meet 2019 standards apparently), 3.8m for £234

QVC stock a 3.5m example for £105 plus P&P, that too doesn't list BS safety compliance. Link has a demo video which flaunts a slow collapse feature which might be worth bearing in mind. Sure, it makes a convincing TV point why to buy this over others, but user reviews aren't exactly positive.

"Loft Ladder, 150 kg", let me go to gym for a year first.
For what it is worth, the builder that was doing work on my house mentioned that he had seen too many accidents with telescopic ladders to every use one.
