Adding in a dog for £20 a night bumps up the cost somewhat. So didn’t book in the end. Otherwise good deal.

I booked a couple of seperate stays at different locations a few weeks ago and they seem to be more money now (once on Sat 16th Dec and 2 nights on Friday 5th Jan).

Also Halifax is giving certain accounts 10% cashback on Travelodge

They had a 30% off deal a few days ago... Was tempted but was unsure on how the weather might be mid January.

My husband has to travel away for uni, so these are always ideal. He got 3 nights with WiFi, for £72 on Black Friday

I always found this a bit of a con. They said it's for extra cleaning but the place would be getting cleaned anyway. They wanted £40 for my two dogs so I told them to poke it.

Prices haven't changed for a lot of places and aren't any lower than £40.

I have tried the sneak in the dog an hour later thing but in some small places they notice. It is a total rip off as dogs are no more problem than people given the state of the towels and carpets I have encountered in Travelodges.

Two of my dogs look exactly the same so I used to sneak one in at a time and vice versa when checking out in the morning.

Some of their faces used to look perplexed when they saw me coming back out with what they though was the same dog when they never saw me coming back in 32619897-Wemzz.jpg
