one star reviews
For a start it's not this model that has the condensation problems, it's the newer steel HR. The battery life is excellent, no idea where that idea comes from? I wear mine every day and change the battery about every 9 months. It's very durable - I've had no problems at all, except for a slight scratch on the glass which was my fault. The strap needed replacing after about two years. It's never had water ingress and I've used it for swimming everywhere, including snorkelling.
I've never had a rash from the strap. The step count is accurate enough, certainly on a par with any other device of this type and more so than my wife's FitBit. I use the mapmyrun app and the distance count is pretty much on a par. The activity transfers to the phone without needing a wifi connection, unlike FitBit.
The newer version of the app isn't as good now it's been taken over by Nokia, but still fine.
Overall if you want something to motivate you to exercise more that doesn't look like a fitness band I can recommend this, especially at this price, though it's actually £10 cheaper in grey at IWOOT.
Strange as I had a Pop and it was actually pretty damn good, battery life was around 6-7 months off a normal cell battery and I went swimming with it too with zero condensation issues. Also have the Withings Sapphire too which is a much nicer build quality and zero issues on that too.
For this price I would say it's good although with Nokia soon to release the Steel HR might be worth holding off and grabbing on of those instead.
Had it on my wrist for 10mins and condensation already forming under the glass. Shame. It’s got the blue dot on the box as well which I thought meant it was a new version.
It’s going back
