The bad reviews are pretty damning, very short battery life, condensation build up inside the watch and not durable enough for a fitness/activity tracker plus it's not very accurate and the strap has caused a rash.

I think I'll give this one a wide swerve.

Discontinued item due to condensation under the screen. Set to be relaunched under Nokia brand soon. Have my eye on the Steel HR.

Actually those reviews need a bit of balance. I've owned this model for over three years now.

For a start it's not this model that has the condensation problems, it's the newer steel HR. The battery life is excellent, no idea where that idea comes from? I wear mine every day and change the battery about every 9 months. It's very durable - I've had no problems at all, except for a slight scratch on the glass which was my fault. The strap needed replacing after about two years. It's never had water ingress and I've used it for swimming everywhere, including snorkelling.

I've never had a rash from the strap. The step count is accurate enough, certainly on a par with any other device of this type and more so than my wife's FitBit. I use the mapmyrun app and the distance count is pretty much on a par. The activity transfers to the phone without needing a wifi connection, unlike FitBit.

The newer version of the app isn't as good now it's been taken over by Nokia, but still fine.

Overall if you want something to motivate you to exercise more that doesn't look like a fitness band I can recommend this, especially at this price, though it's actually £10 cheaper in grey at IWOOT.

Strange as I had a Pop and it was actually pretty damn good, battery life was around 6-7 months off a normal cell battery and I went swimming with it too with zero condensation issues. Also have the Withings Sapphire too which is a much nicer build quality and zero issues on that too.

For this price I would say it's good although with Nokia soon to release the Steel HR might be worth holding off and grabbing on of those instead.

Thanks for the positive input, balance is always good I'm sure others have had little or no issues but for me 55 one star reviews that all seem to mention the same failings don't exactly inspire confidence in the product.

I’ve had mine for a year now. Original battery still going strong. Swim with it twice a week and haven’t had any condensation issues at all. Strap had to be replaced after 10 months- but they’re not too expensive. Would recommend.

Bought this as wanted a smart looking tracker watch.
Had it on my wrist for 10mins and condensation already forming under the glass. Shame. It’s got the blue dot on the box as well which I thought meant it was a new version.
It’s going back
