Just checked the Withings site for their Black Friday offers.

They are offering 20% off for a sum of £119.96. Amazon looked to have price matched. Well, a penny less for your troubles.

This is the cheapest I have seen these. Some reviews are skeptical of the product but I'm ready to try them myself with Amazon's good returns.

Whilst it is a better price than usual, it has extremely bad reviews across all Amazon sites.
I had the ws50 and found it very good but was tempted to upgrade . I will give it a miss after reading the reviews. Very disappointing for such an expensive bit of kit.

Yeah, the reviews are what have put me off for so long. I have read them and watched a few videos and I'm prepared to try them myself in hope it's down to user-error most of the time. If they suck they will be going back.

Guys, this may be useless info, posting just before diving off the train, but there was a post elsewhere in here for deals on the Withings website. Couple of scales 'like' this on there for less?

1p more expensive at Withings site in case Amazon sell out. (Free shipping) withings.com/uk/…dio

I think I will go for the Withings body, it looks the same as the ws-50 which is confusingly called the body analyser but the Withings body is bizarrely cheaper than the ws-50 and has similar features to the cardio.

Had a look into the differences between models and found this:

Heart rate and pulse wave velocity are what you pay for with the Body Cardio. Coincidently, these are the features that draw criticism on the Body Cardio so if they don't fly right for me I'll be going for the Body model too.

I saw this earlier and thats what made me decide to just get the body version which has better reviews. Ive been back and forth all day across all amazon sites. The body is €69 on Amazon France of which I picked up a warehouse deal for €52 ( £46) like new. Ive already sold my body analyzer for more on ebay so I'm happy.Hope your cardio works out for you.

Thanks for that, I suspect I'll be sending it back with a view to get the Body model now though.

How did you get on with it.
Its just taken me 30 mins to even get mine to work with the app, It almost went back as faulty but after switching on/off both the scale and my bluetooth umpteen times it finally connected.

I dont think its very accurate compared to my older Body analyser .Also a bit dubious about the muscle and bone mass readings. I am a largish guy with higher muscle mass than average yet these scales are saying i'm actually less than average, complete opposite so not sure whats going on.

Sorry, forgot to reply to this! I sent mine back in the end due to the price reduction - I did intend to buy the Body model but the offer finished on that by the time I got the refund.

The few days I used the readings I had similar thoughts - how accurate can these things really be? It seemed to work it out in no time at all.
