No reviews of the product or app rating... Any one used this brand before along side the app?

Yes have it in my home. It's great. Connect to Alexa and set up a routine with echo and ring doorbell as well so that when it's dark anyone rings the bell the light switches on etc.... (edited)

    Thoughts people.
I have some dusk till dawn up down lights in the front of my house with 4 x regular GU10 bulbs.
So basically they come on when it's dark and switch off when it's light.

With the rise in electricity, I don't want them on all night so happy for them to switch on when the sun goes down but want them to switch off around midnight.

Should I go for these or a WIFI spur switch? Currently, there is a switch on the inside that I click when going to bed and turn on in the morning when I wake up. (definately needs automation)

    GU10 Pros
    Timed control
    Control over each light
Control brightness so can dim them slightly to my preference
    Application

    Cons
Not sure that the dusk till dawn sensor will cause an issue with the connectivity of the GU10 bulbs as it only provides power to the units when there is a bright enough source.

    Wifi Spur switch Pros
    Timed control
    Control over power
    Application

    Cons
Only power over the switch. None of the features that come with WIFI bulbs

    Thanks All, (edited)

cold, vat and delivery make them just as expensive as the other chinese rubbish

These are really very good and app is surprisingly user friendly.

Comparing these and a cheap Chinese equivalent is comparing a haven holiday an all inclusive in Mexico.

Can you somehow link this work your Hue system?

What about any smart MR16 12v wrgb? Can't find any sensible offers anywhere 😔

Surely these aren’t HomeKit compatible—yet it says Siri support?

Just read a guide about smart bulbs (smart things) and household internet security. Worth being aware of the risks of hacking to your network, other than that, looks like a good deal.

I have 4 of the full colour ones in my kitchen, they are pretty good, the wireless signal sometimes seems a bit sketchy but that might just be the distance that they are from the router. I got them for 3 quid each when my local Jack's was closing so I can't complain. (edited)
