Superb, nice one OP
good find
HOT FROM ME
That's crazy, the duty costs plus the VAT bring it to about £1.85 without the cost that Tesco would buy it in for...so they'll be selling this at a loss. They'll have limited stock of it too as it'll be a publicity stunt to get people in.
Either way I'm rushing on down as it's a fantastic price!!!
Pay for the wine and get a £5 off voucher for the Stella/Becks/Strongbow pack you've chosen.
Pay £5 for the special pack and now you have 12 bottles of excellent wine PLUS 18 bottles of Stella/Becks OR 15 cans of Strongbow for £39.20 cash money or £30 Tesco Double Up Wine Vouchers (£15 of Clubcard Vouchers) plus £9.20 cash money.
There are more ways to get even better value from this deal but this post would have taken a whole page.:-D
Has to be a bargain, whichever way you choose to do it.:whistling::whistling:
Well, I got 6 bottles of white at St Stephens Hull, and that left 2 on the shelf so wouldn`t bet on there being loads everywhere. There was none of the red left when I looked aswell.
I for some stupid reason accidentally hit cold button on this, is there anyway of reversing the vote.??? HOT HOT HOT it should be all the way. !
Total cost of wine £12.10!!!!!!!
Used a £2 off when you buy any 6 bottles of wine (GRNCD6)

Not sure if these codes will work for everyone, they may be customer specific. I got them with a mailing from the wine club.
48 bottles of wine.
36 bottles pf Stella (2 x £5 deals for spending +£30)
30 cans of Strongbow (2 x £5 deals for spending +£30)

Total cost in actual money £57 the rest being made up of £60 Club Card Vouchers doubled to £120.

Wine at Tesco "normal" price = £335
Beer + Cider = £40

I am well chuffed with this for a result and my thanks to the OP (aeu05125) for mentioning the deal in the first place.:thumbsup:
You forgot to factor in home delivery cost which could have been up to 50% of this price.
I got this delivered with my normal weekly shop, also had a code for £5 off shop over £50, which it was, delivery was £4, so actual cost of wine was in fact £11.10.........!!:-D
Very sparse in Carnforth (except Rosė)
Managed to get a few Cabernet Merlot though.
No it wasn't because the only way you could get this deal was by buying other items. So your minimum shop was 50...... If you JUST bought the wine (as per the deal) you needed to add 4 to the price, which is nearly a third of the price of the wine.
I'm not trying to pick on you, just saying that you can't go throwing around "I got 6 for 11" when in actual fact you couldn't have done it without buying other things. It's like saying "I got a PS3 for free" when in actual fact you had to buy an Audi A4 to get it.
They apparently had TONS out the back, were they trying to limit how much was sold at that price and get people to look at the other wine deals in the wine festival? Probably...
GREAT wine though, it's now a favourite.
