A classic 90s game for £0.74 from £2.99, similar to DOOM
Also the Wolf Pack: Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein for £2.50 down from £9.99

Maybe it was the fact that people got to blow away Nazis. Maybe it was the sheer challenge of it all. For whatever reason, Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny, pioneered the first-person shooter genre and brought its legendary creators, id Software, worldwide notoriety and numerous awards. In fact, The Computer Gaming World Hall of Fame recognized Wolfenstein 3D as helping to shape the overall direction of the computer gaming industry.

On a related note (i.e. it covers the origins of this game) I can't recommend Masters Of Doom enough. The story of id and the two Johns.
Free = cold.
Schutzstaffel!

Mein leben..

Epic game
Sorry, 74p more expensive (infinite % more) than the cheapest deal, so this deal is definitely absolute 0 in my book.
"Quick, set it to 75% off so we can cash in before people realise it's free!"
Recommend return to castle Wolfe stein.... Absolute gem of a game, still holds up reasonably well too, and should play nicely on your lappy!
Having been around when all this was new and having the game on floppy disc I bought this Thanks for head up!
wasn't this like £19.99 per episode back in the day? this is a bargain

You've made me stay up past my bed time.
Con someone post a link to benchmarks of the game please??
I need to know if it'll run smoothly on my gtx570
Return to Castle Wolfenstein only £1.49 on Steam, now thats more of a bargain!!

return was one of my favourite games back in the day when FPS' took off and we had medals of duty ww2 games left right and centre - darn fun to play, oldschool secret areas and treasures and some very fun guns. never liked the original though, too clunky so doom2 or rise of the triad i enjoyed more (later games i know)

worth it for **** and giggles but return to castle wolfenstein is a much better deal

The most fun I've had in playing a game in a long time.
rise of the triad, hehe... it had a 'shrooms mode that made it play like a bad trip.
IDSPISPOPD to walk through walls in Doom.
press F7 when selecting your graphics mode in Xenon2 (PC) then press 'i' in-game for invulnerability

lol
best game ever!!!
I managed to pick up Return to Castle Wolfenstein Special Edition (which comes with wolfenstein 3d) for £1 in a charity shop yesterday.

Result.

Worth mentioning that the free web version doesn't contain the nocturnal missions and that the dosgamesarchive you linked to says shareware (i.e. only the first episode. I haven't check that as I already own it and can't be bothered downloading it to prove a point).
Any spec requirements, will my pc run this ;-)
