Do the devs get shafted buying from key sites like this? Just curious.

This has been seen for £25.99 previously, but it was a fair bit further away from launch date so stayed cold.

The first was one of the very best FPS games I've played in recent years... Really looking forward to this (on PS4).

yeah, agreed.............first one was magic imo............will for sure be getting this but this deal or wait?...........hmmm

From what I gather CDkeys buys keys from other regions worldwide and that's how they're cheaper than elsewhere. So whilst the devs might get a smaller amount than if you bought the game off steam they're still getting paid for the game.

Sites like G2A however really do screw over devs. They host listings from private sellers and that can include keys that have been bought in mass on stolen credit cards. Some devs have even said that they'd rather you pirate their game than buy it from G2A.

Just got an email from Amazon saying they have upgraded my order to the "Delux Edition" which, if true, would be a bargain at £30 (the orignal Amazon purchase price); it is, however, the "Welcome to America" edition which is the Standard edition + day1 DLC (actually called "The Freedom Chronicles - Episode 0").

So, bascially there's no such thing as the "Standard Edition"; all pre-orders come with the day1 DLC.

The CDkeys key obviously includes this day1 DLC. I think the only benefit of getting the DVD (link below) is the 48 Page TV Amerika Enterainment Magazine and Wolfenstein Travel Card Holder but I guess these may be included in electronic format too?
So DVD is £34 now at Amazon (£32 with Prime).
