why the cold?

Wear these if you like ugly looking and impractical footwear that are hideously overpriced.

Prepare to get cold, people on this site hate them and vote cold even if its a good deal, never mind Im sure it will help someone - Im just wondering if I should wait till the Boxing day sales - they should be a little cheaper I would have thought but if its for a gift this is pretty hot!

Oh ok they are just skint people who couldnt affors them, i get it
I was going to wait till then but saw these and found the discount voucher. All other sites were £200 plus, thought this was a great price.....oh well if it were to do with lego or womens undewear then it would have been voted hot

They are good if they are 50.00 and below, wife got some from littlewoods which were 70 and in shue they were 140.00 and she got some from a mate that works at a show store and they were clearout at 50.00. but she would not pay anything else

Never seen them that low priced before, but good look to you if theyre real and new for £50
Anyway thanks to the OP Ive picked a pair up @ 148 including free delivery

People can **** them all they want but people will still buy them

The wife really wants a new pair for Christmas but the cheapest iv'e seen them was £173 from office so this is a good deal.
Ordered and hot from me, thanks for posting up....

These retched things should stay in 2009 where they belong....*shudder*

Thanks so much for this, i've just ordered them, was waiting till 5pm for the Fraser's 2 day event to start to get 25% off but this was a far better deal. For all those who mock, I have wore cheapy ones for years and decided to treat myself, the quality if far superior and if like myself you need to walk your dog at all hours and in all weather then these will be well used .... again "cheers"

I think they are going to be 20% off in the House of Fraser sale.

I like my girl in Uggs personally, but I've never paid these kind of prices.. I bought her Bailey Button Triplets for Christmas last year, and paid £89..

You couldn't ever convince me they're worth this kind of money..

is the hut an authorized retailer of uggs? on this ugg website it says they have no recored of this seller?

To be fair the Baileys are not as expensicve as full prices classic tall, nor are they as good a seller...
Agreed, they are overpriced but arnt most fashion items?
They all have at least a 400% mark up, Ive paid 200 quid for a polo t shirt a few years ago even though I knew I was getting my pants pulled down buying it, but I wanted it and there was no way I could get it discounted - its not about being snobby or being a fashion victim, the bottom line is
If you want something that much, your going to buy it anyway, if you can get it cheaper with a code or a sale like this thread then its a bonus

Probably made the right choice, they are £215 for tall in HOF so even with 20% off they come in at 172 which is not far off the Huts price WITHOUT the 15% code

UGG boots are an advertisement for the how stupid the person wearing them is. No price could ever be a deal for these.

From Money saving expert

The Hut has confirmed the Uggs are genuine, but as it imports them from abroad it's not on the Ugg's official retailer list.

moneysavingexpert.com/dea…ots

Be sure they are genuine before you pay this price. I've had 2 pairs of real uggs and loved them but my last pair were fake (wanted a different colour and couldn't justify another 200 quid) They look the part but are rubbish quality. They were not from The Hut though.

The Huts pretty reputable in my book, if they were snide it would be all over MSE by now, and even if they are your deffo getting your money back from a place like the HUT I would have thought

Well, they would say that wouldn't they! So, if they are genuine that means other countries won't pay what UK mugs shell out for these things then.

I know where your coming from, but seriously its the Hut, not a market stall, or knock off nigel from down the pub and even in the unlikely event that there is a problem your not going to have an issue getting your money back
Anyway once again thanks to OP Ive just bought another pair as a gift for someone
Im unsubscribing to this thread now as its pointless arguing over what ifs and peoples tastes, lets just hope this doesnt put other people off posting deals, which, after all, is the purpose of the site

PEACE!

Thats a great price! £220 for tall ones in Office! Cant believe this is cold, surely people should vote on the saving/price, not whether or not they like them?!

They ARE voting on the price - 150 quid is a ridiculous price for these things. For 30 quid they'd still be ugly but at least they'd be cheap!

Troll [yawn]

The problem is you are paying a premium price for what are functionally poor items. I don't think I have seen a pair more than 2 months old where the owner isn't walking out of the side of them; when commuting in London I see women walking in the wet and the things are heavy and sloshing about on their feet, they look ridiculous.

It would be more understandable if the boots were nice (subjective I know) but as they are they are neither functional or pretty so not even the "form over function" saying can explain the person wearing them.

You are correct of course, it is a good price if the normal price is £200+, but I see these as functionally useless. And I see the people that wear them as either just nuts, or with more money than sense.

People also use this site as a source of information about the items, you just need to look at some of the long posts on electronics and laptops etc to see what I mean, so its not just a simple as hot or cold. It why we have comments.

Anyway, Enjoy your boots :-) You'll need them, its very cold in here :-)

spoon_2000 they will be the cheap replica uggs you have seen, mine wore down at one side within weeks but my genuine uggs are around 2 years old and the soles are still perfect, the sites about finding good deals and bargains its not a fashion critic site

But for 150 quid these are neither a good deal nor a bargain, they are a small reduction from a totally ridiculous price and you're being ripped off. Amazing how 'fashion' turns normally sane, sensible people into mugs.

i would pay 400 quid if i had too, you cant go your whole life being tight asses, think of the smile on the face of the person you are buying them for as she opens the box xmas morning.

nobody has asked any of you your opinion on the boots, I dont care if you think they are ugly or have no use

Oh dear - wrong side of the bed?

I'm afraid you did ask for opinions - when you posted it on HUKD. If you don't like the debate don't post the rubbish.

Has anybody had these delivered? mine came today and I'm beginning to doubt whether they're genuine!

Mine were delivered today, I'm pretty sure they are real. If you look inside the left boot and spot the tag half way down, there is a little security tag behind it with a hologram which is normally a sure sign they are real I have three genuine pairs all bought from different places which are on the genuine resellers list

Really? I got 2 different pairs and compared them to three pairs relatives had in the house that they bought from UGG and they are EXACTLEY the same if you doubt it, take them the UGG shop and get them checked
