Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, raised on a sheltered island paradise and trained to be an unconquerable warrior. When an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Lynda Carter (back then) or Gal Gadot?? Mmm - it's a hard one.

Easy!!

You'll watch Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones time after time but Wonder Woman? Once was more than enough. The film, casting and acting is more of a Poundland deal.

I think the moment a stripper turned up at the Somme was a highlight. Some pipes of peace were played that night.

Agreed terrible casting
The link doesn't seem to work. Also, is this a Scandinavian edition? Might be worth mentioning.

Not sure, But your comment is inadequate. This is a Blu-Ray.
Would rather have a copy with a UV code
Love wonder woman

Indeed. As much as I love Lynda Carter, time moves on and I think Gal Gadot inheriting the crown is fine with me. A really hard one

Saw the film , I don;t get that ? Worked perfectly well . Or did you not mean the main one ? The main thing that made no sense was the Amazons dying in the beach and how Ares bumped off teh other God's and Goddesses (in original myth Athena would kick his arse never mind his Dad and Uncles !)

I meant the 'end' baddie, don't want to be specific to avoid spoilers :). He just wasn't convincing to me.

Yeah I still enjoyed it more than BvS, that was a bit too po-faced for my liking.
Are coolshop decent/reliable ?
I thought they no longer make 3d tvs.
If so then this is a new movie remake of an old series in a outdated dvd format that also comes in a now decommissioned 3d format.
Awful film, bought it at Christmas, watched 3/4 of it and then it went to the charity shop.

It's not a remake of an old series. It's Wonder Woman's big screen debut. She's a comicbook character.
It's not a DVD. It's a Blu-ray.
3D sets are still available, but manufacturers are pushing UHD and HDR. 3D is still supported by a lot of projectors.
I read Wonder Woman as a girl up to my teens (always harboured an ambition to be a comicbook artist, but, oh well) and I felt quite emotional watching the movie in the cinema...I've waited a long, long time for this movie. I would definitely watch it again, but I'm probably not your average viewer.

One movie that's related is Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, which I watched last night - which gives some background on the surprising origin of Wonder Woman's creator Professor Moulton Marston (though there is a bit of Hollywoodified artistic licence, it's based on a book by Jill Lepore called The Secret History Of Wonder Woman).

The imagery, and the undercurrent throughout in early WW comics was very racy for the 1940s - which may well have accounted for it being such a smash hit during its Golden era - her "burlesque" outfit, bondage scenes, talk of loving female dominance, exclamations such as "Suffering Sappho", but most of the saucy stuff had been eradicated by the time mini-me read the comics.

Rubbish movie, too much CGI, and other oddities like what happens to that massive feet of ships coming towards the island?

Giggity.
I am in this movie! In the blue dress scene!
Mediocre movie. Only purchase it you’re a huge fan of the comics. Not even worth £2.
Or if you enjoyed it...
