We have both, the kids get out the Scalextric much much more. Anki are cars are slow compared to Scalextric. They are different beasts, buy both, but get a cheaper digital Scalextric set.

Used to be into nitro rc and had one of these, it's big but it's dog ****, weak and underpowered. Get a HPI trophy truggy, different animal but streets ahead of the mta4 and way more capable / versatile.

I agree that nitro has had its day with regards to power against Lipo etc... but to describe a car in a bad light because it is Noisty is a sad day for those of us that Love the roar of an engine... however small so HOT HOT :3

Get a syma x5c instead, larger, can be used outdoors in higher winds & goes for £50 on amazon. Takes decent video too :)

I remember going to Hatton's as a kid with my dad and seeing all the original boxed new hornby dublo stuff that they had lining the shelves. I do have to say that the E-link package has made me pull out what little hair I had left but I finally got it working today!
