Am I the only one who finds Brian Cox's goofy grin intensely irritating?

So much so that I find him almost unwatchable.....

No you're not alone, but above all his science is sadly mistaken / wrong.

No. I hate him. (See below)

I trust this includes the moment when Brian Cox takes a moment out from the science to flagrantly suck up to Islam. I wouldn't spend a penny on anything from him. (Except in the sense of urinate!)

lol Move along now troll...

I actually enjoyed his presentation on this first series. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and i love the fact how he seems to be amazed / shocked by the sience of it all as he describes facts which continue to blow me away to this day.
I am no physicist but i love astronomy...

Have you watched History Channel's 'The Universe'?
I would quite like to buy them all on Blu.

Just wish Journey to the Edge of the Universe was a better transfer as it was a great programme.

Could you provide detail of which bit are wrong? While his style may not be to everyones liking, can't say I noticed many (not saying tehre are not any at all) factual innacuracies.

£8.49 Delivered free at Amazon

That's for the DVD though, the Blu Ray is £9.99.

True facts do not come from authorised textbooks, scientists, TV or the education system, but primarily from personal experience and balanced intuition, if the well groomed Cox boy makes you feel comfortable and contented that's your choice - many of us know different.

Strange that 'many of you know different' yet none of you care to share your 'evidence'.

Does he?

Yes, he does. I witnessed that moment on one of the episodes I caught on TV. Thus his comments on religion in this interview came as no surprise: telegraph.co.uk/sci…tml.

Put up or shut up.

Come on, show us where he sucks up to Islam and show us where his science is wrong. I'm genuinely interested. Why the silence?

How can I show you where he sucks up to Islam when there is no clip available? Are you getting the DVD set? If so you will see for yourself.

You could explain to us what he suggested surely? Give us the gist?
