Thought they'd sold out of these, still got a few packs left in the cupboard.

Saw these in one of the american sweet shops and they were £4.99, so didnt really fancy a trip down memory lane at that price. These were indeed a childhood classic and will be popping in to my local poundland to check if they have any. Thanks for the great post!!! p.s hopefully they will have some runts....remember those!!!

Love these

They have gobstoppers aswell

Which store please?

Anyone remember Dummies? Very similar.

Yep they had these in Wandsworth London, delicious....smashed down the whole box in about an hour.....then spent the next hour feeling very sick!

Hit and miss to find, meant to been available a long time but my local store only had stock one week and none before or since and another store had a few left a week later but none before or since

I like the gobstoppers more.

Was it these ones with glass in?

Felt the same after a few handfuls- 'may have adverse effects on children' so did you also start bouncing off the walls after the whole box too?:p

Sold out the other month and all gone now in my local now too.

Do rainbow nerds give you rainbow t..... X)

just a note for the halal or the vegetarian diet: they are not suitable for vegetarians or halal they contain E120/carmine which is derived from insects...

Perhaps you're thinking of Dweebs? Anyway, these are awesome!

I've talked to a couple of vegetarians who claim to be so for dietary reasons. So what is E120 going to do to a vegetarian who isn't a vegetarian to "save the animals"?

I'm still certain there was another one though. The box was perforated you could split it in half.

I think my brain wanted me to start bouncing off the walls but my overall feeling of gluttony prevented me from even moving off the sofa!

However, now that I have recovered from my sugar induced state I kind of wish I had purchased a few more!!

Thanks for that. Was just about to pick up a pack today. Is it all of them that contain the carmine or just the red ones? I seem to recall M&M's are the same with the only the red ones having carmine because they use it for the colouring.
