Wood effect floor tiles £6 per square meter @ Wickes

Wickes have these prices at £6 a square meter. Not sure if it's a misprint or just a good deal. One pack of 11 tiles covers 1square meter. I've never seen them as cheap as this and were perfect for a conservatory or kitchen. Not to everyones taste I'm sure but harder wearing than laminate and half the price
Also and extra 15% off if you order online

how hard are these to fit? need to get in a professional?

Must be misprice. 6 quid is damn too cheap

Have these in my bathroom very nice

I am sure that I paid £14 a box a year and a half ago ... and that was at half price!

Excellent price, we have a different shade in our bathroom and they look lovely. The tiler said they were really good to install.

We got someone in to fit ours, they aren't as wide as other floor tiles, so you would need to be pretty spot-on ensuring that each one is level and correctly spaced etc.

Perfect! 30m2 ordered, free delivery, thanks for that.

nice find sue.heat

These look great with a very dark grey grout IMHO.

Would you need any special wood underneath these in a bathroom?

Just floorboards or water resistant flooring grade chipboard depending how old your house is

Is it only floor tiles. The Shop title says floor and wall tiles.?

Dumb question time - how long-lasting are these (I'm guessing you go by the thickness, like laminate?) - I was eyeing these up as well (quite a bit more expensive though) wickes.co.uk/Wic…686 (Selwood Light Oak Porcelain Tile, 9.40mm thick).

I'm guessing they are prone to cracking if things are dropped on them?

What about underlay/noise?

Which other items need to be bought alongside, eg, grout? May as well buy all I need, all together.

£6 per sq meter and then 15% off for me and delivery so 20m2 for £102

what is the code for extra 15% off on online order

They seem to be £8 now, but that still seems cheap

15% ended yesterday.

Use flexible adheiseve and grout to cushion any drops, dunno how brittle they'd be but I'm guessing you can just paint over any chips that did happen.
