The quality is arguable on this, but as a beginner wanting to try it out, you can't really go wrong at £30!

It was on here reduced for £89 a month or so ago! hotukdeals.com/dea…934

Buy yourself extra special frozen wood fired pizzas from asda for £1.50 …Buy yourself extra special frozen wood fired pizzas from asda for £1.50 and save yourself £28.49, time and hardwork...

Save yourself even more time and money and just eat rice for the rest of your life.
If you've a BBQ with pull over lid (gas or charcoal) just buy one of these and save yourself a few quid. Let it heat up (the stone will go black but don't worry) throw a bit of flour on it and put your pizza on. Bin using mine for years and would won't taste a finer a pizza 🍕

I'm fairly sure that brown rice and a frozen pizza take the same amount of time to cook. I think the pizza probably takes less time when you factor in boiling the kettle.

Or just chuck the stone in the oven, use an asda pizza and its still way tastier than dominos at 1/6 of the price!

Not quite the same, but a pizza stone does help - pizza ovens should reach a temp of between 400 to 500, best you will get from a standard oven is about 280

May have been pricing error, anyone find one?
Anyone saying Asda frozen pizzas are a decent alternative to making your own pizzas have obviously never took the time time to make their own and are probably 18 stone chubsters.

There's not many pleasures in life like being able to make a traditional Neopolitan Margherita correctly. It may well take a few hours to make the dough but I'd rather go to the trouble than insult my taste buds with pizza from the frozen section, vile.

Tastier? I don't think I've eaten a pizza where every topping is as bland as the next when it comes to Asda pizza. Can't stand them. It forced me into making my own because I find most places who sell or make their own haven't got a clue when it comes to making Pizza.

Yup, in my opinion much tastier than any delivery company or store bought pizza in my town. Maybe you choose particularly bland toppings?

Brilliant, another thread that turn into a cringe worthy, cock-waving competition.

Its an entry level item. Its cheap.
Will it perform as well as something many times its price? No, probably not.
Is the product from this item as good as a convenience alternative?.. Perhaps.
Can person A make it better than person B?... Who cares.
Is it value for money?.. If you're going to use it and enjoy it then yes. If not then its a waste of money.

You could copy and paste that into a good percentage of HUKDeals and it would still be relevant.

It would be equally as dull as the bickering but at least it would be less cluttered.

Lol, I'm just over 10 stone mate, a bit of exercise and you can eat pretty much whatever you want as long as you aren't stupid about it. And if you try reading the comment made you'll see I was comparing them to Dominos.

EDIT: Hmm, I do mean the fresh though not the frozen. Always get them made to order.

Agree 100% with you about making your own. I encourage people to try, so easy and so much tastier especially the crust As for the 18!stone chubsters I'll leave that one with you

I've bought one of these...really good to use and kids enjoy the fun of making the pizzas from scratch. I'm still trying to master a quick dough recipe and if anyone has one to share I'd welcome the input!
    So what's the verdict?

Been toying with the idea of a pizza oven myself. Never seen these before. What temp will it achieve, and how long to get to say 450 with the gas burner. What size pizza roughly will this accommodate? It looks a really convenient option to an heavy solid pizza oven.
