Phone woolies, i did, they told me they had a delivery coing in and i went down

Where do you get "was £99" from? Online says was £44.99.

I'm in the market for a new BBQ, got a full gas canister from my old one that broke, are these any good?

The Big W store in Newark has some, or at least did yesterday. My other half picked one up last night about 5pm.

Bear in mind you still need to buy gas, but it's a steal at £12!

Can anybody [briefly] explain to me to point of a gas BBQ? Surely the whole pleasure of BBQs is the smoked flavour it gives the food you cook? Aren't you better off saving your money and grilling your food in the kitchen instead? Or is the advantage that these things are larger than a conventional oven grill and don't make your kitchen smell of cooking food?

Apologies for my ignorance.

I got one from Maidstone Woolworths last Friday, it was their last one so they said.

Took a while to put together (and it was a little bit awkward) but I have used it twice now and it's really good - well worth £12! I wouldn't pay 100 or even 50 for it though.

Uses Patio Gas / Butane and comes with a regulator.

:roll:fab deal ,desisions desisions do a go to morning bingo or dive in to the forge and try and get one

To be honest i always told my OH that i never wanted a gas BBQ, but this was too good a deal to pass up.

You put woodchips onto the BBQ to impart a smoky flavour into the food.

I felt the same till I went to a friends for a barbie a few years back. There is a metal plate thing that heats up and as the fat drips onto this plate it flames up and sizzles. You do still get the smokey flavour but much easier to control, quick to light and no ash on your food. It used to take nearly an hour with my old one to get going properly. This one is instant.

Go get one, they are just to the left of the customer service desk

Called the Forge in Glasgow there [1100hrs Friday] and they said they still have "loads" left, as they got a delivery of 300 yesterday! Voted well hot!

I bought one of these. Took me about an hour and a half to put together and it's been in my shed ever since. Nobody told me it was pointless owning a bbq in Aberdeen!

I can't believe anybody would have paid £99 for this so its a totally inflated RRP. But @ £12 its still a bargain.
