I found these at my local aldi. There were £4.99 for the set which I think is amazing given the Irwin ones cost £20 for one clamp. Ideal for a hobbyist wood worker.

This isn't a reduction as £4.99 can be seen on the packaging as a normal price
Thank you Still good value👏
I bought these a year or so back
They are really useful and although I have nothing to compare with, I’d recommend them
Also worth noting they can be used in reverse to push out rather than grip ... if that makes sense
Got these last week, snapped the handle on one of them.
These are fine for very basic use but the difference between quality items and these comes when you really need them and pull to hard on them they're not as durable...
I can't compare with standard Irwin as I bought into the XP versions and there is no comparison...

I still bought a couple of sets of these however because at the smaller ranges you only generally need a "pinch" and these are fine...

Like above the smallest ones aren't up to much as the handle also broke on one of mine ... But the others have been ok..(for the price they're ok)
Lidl sell exact same thing for about the same amount, so if none on sale in Aldi try Lidl or vice versa
Super helpful those
I've had some of these a while ago, not bad but handle snapped on 1 quite easily, ok for light work but nothing to heavy
I brought these last year. Not very good quality. Do not clamp well. Also they break and pop out.
Better of spending little more for Irwin ones .
Thanks all who commented, I was umming and arring on the website for about a month for these. I had the Lidl ones and they flexed quite quickly under load so was hoping these would be better, I guess not!

Anyone can recommend some mid level ones? Or maybe just stick with f clamps? Happy to wait for sales if I know what to wait for...
These are good value but you have to understand their limitations.

Take for example the larger 345mm clamps in this set, these can exert a clamp force of 400n which sounds good but the comparable Irwin gives a clamp force of 300lbs.

400n = 90lbs

Edit: Funny the things you find out, the average hand grip of a male age 20-24 is 100 to 140 lbs. The workzone clamp is not standing up too well to that. Although sad to say it beats the average at my age livestrong.com/art…st/

I have previously bought these, and as all saying, they basically ok FOR THE MONEY..
I broke one of mine, first use..
IF you need trade quality, these are not for you, IF you can be heavy handed, these not for you..
From a design point, these have too much available leverage, hence all too easy to break them..
The handles should be much smaller(to reduce ease of being able to break them)...
OR be made from better material..
I strongly recommend getting the Irwin quick grip minis as an alternative to this Aldi or lidl’s copy. I got some from Screwfix at a decent price...
Decent value. Had 3 different sized pairs of these bought. Useful for general DIY but they have their limitations as the plastic body is held together with short screws instead of bolts which would stop the screws from stripping under too much pressure as I found out and have since modified. I believe the Irwin brand is owned by Cromwell Tools. If that makes any sense to anyone in the know?

Someone said it( thought that was a reduced price) but as you can see the comment was deleted leaving my comment looking a bit silly on its own but I don't care, I can handle it!

Done the same. Useful, but you should not overload them.
