Ah I literally needed one of these and you've just posted it! Great timing 😁
Thanks, great price so just ordered.
Also just ordered!

This is exactly what I need for work when cutting off bolts.

I'm assuming that it'll fit those fancy Dremmel 'quick clip' mandrels? The cut-off discs from dremmel are usually far, far better than the no-brand ones...
HOT!
Thanks OP!
There's something similar in Lidl NI this weekend for a similar price.

I've a 3D printer so gonna buy one to tidy up my prints.
How do these compare to the mains ones.

The Bosch one that I have borrowed at work is absolutely excellent for small cut-offs. Obviously that is a fancy one, but ultimately it's a fairly simple machine; just a very fast motor and a battery. I would imagine that the Aldo one will overheat far more easily than a posh one, but for small sanding/finishing/cut-off I can't see why it wouldn't be ok?

I have a Silverline (crap) corded one, and that's fine for similar duties.

Thanks for the info
I have the Aldi electric version. It is ok, not as good as a Dremel, but good value for money. The Aldi cutting discs shatter easily though - get the Dremel ones if you can afford it. Also buy a £1 pair of safety goggles as bits of metal or shattered discs can blind you.

oh yeah,, I want one of these!
Got one from ALDI, it's decent due to lack of power. Spins very fast but as soon as you touch something with a disk, the speed gets to half. Not for metals or very hard materials.
I would definitely buy a mains Dremel.
£19.94 including delivery - obviously no delivery if you pick one up in store. The last thing I bought from Aldi online was free delivery for a low value item so they must have introduced the delivery charge recently.

Yes it used to be free. Treated the wife to a case of Prosecco to get the free delivery! Rather expensive tool. Haha.
Mine lasted two days.

The locking mech that allows you to tighten the mandrels up in the chuck broke. Embarrassingly with a work colleague's bit in it! Had to hack-saw and plier it out.

Aldi tools. I never learn!
