Is this deal coming this Thursday 18th May? Having been to Aldi there wasn’t any sign of them.

How come you can get a half decent set like this when Rolson, Blackspurr et al sell absolute tat for the same price? If someone says you're paying for the brand with them I. Will. Literally. Die. Laughing.

That's due to the practical advertising. Lidl and aldi don't sell this to make profit. They want to attract customers and we can enjoy it.

Thanks OP. Popped down and grabbed all 3. Bargain. Then got to checkout and receipt was over 70 quid for other stuff I picked up too. Had a non ratchet set already and all the bits are interchangeable except for the precision longer screwdriver that is. Seem good quality too. Cheers (edited)

These are great. I’ve brought several sets from previous years and they’re all going strong. Keep one in the car, 1 in shed and 1 in house. If you’ve got the choice go for the left hand one with a stubby screwdriver head as having the extension bar to hold the bits isn’t as handy / is more fiddly.

Yes I ended up buying all these three sets and the £5.99 hand drills, hand saw and precision sets as well. So that's just short of £30, but a nice selection of tools.

I've no idea about such things, but some say they won't be great quality from Aldi - they look OK to me?
