Lol love it. Thought the same definately moving in to the tool market I can now spend longer in there than my Mrs.
Ordered Thank you
Anyone know how easy to find replacement or alternative bits?

Seems that above SDS Max there are different types and not sure will fit each other.

If you don't quite need this power / weight it might be worth getting a similar priced SDS max unit from the likes of toolstation or screwfix that will be a bit lighter and more flexible in bit availability.

However, if you do need something this big it is cheap compared to there similar offerings.
If I use this in my house, will I lose my deposit?
Draper and Makita breakers use this type of chisel fitting so readily available
Also Kango breakers use same fitting
Just need a van, a logo from a utilities firm, a high vis, cones etc and I can dig up the streets and cause delays for everyone
£79.94 at machine mart machinemart.co.uk/p/x…0v/ although only one year warranty and 37J impact. I ordered this Saturday and supposed to be collect this morning but now going to look at cancelling and getting this Aldi one. The extra £20 is worth the warranty and extra impact I think.

Yes saw the one at Machinemart you are right extra 18 Joules and 100W and warranty and possibly extra chisel would be worth it for £20
bought one last time round. Did a fine job of taking up a section of patio to put down a discharge pipe. Be warned though, using one of these is still graft.
Would you trust the average numpty to use one of these properly? I would hate to see one of my neighbours swinging this around next to the streets electrical incoming cable.

I'm amazed half the knuckle draggers out there don't fall over more often!

I’ve used these ones before and I have to say I was quite impressed , does exactly what it needs to, they do have limited stock tho so I’d snap them up quick

So what do u do with it after you've finished that driveway or patio?
Tried to hire one of these for a weekend a few weeks ago to break up a patio but they wanted £85. I ended up getting a own brand SDS drill for £50 at Toolstation rather than a breaker.
It was hard work but I will be able to use a SDS drill again, wasn't sure I'd ever have to use a breaker again.
