Three year warranty on screws now?! This is getting daft. Not a bad price though if they're any good and the cases are decent as well

looks identical to the screwfix ones just rebranded; happy with the ones I've had (screwfix). Hot from me.

B&Q has a few different types that use the same box too, one is B&Q branded and the others are different. They also have 1,200 screws, not 1,000.

I got the green 1,200 screw version and I'm impressed with them and they're only £12, so they're also 1p/screw, the exacttt same as this deal.
Good deal

I thought the case looked similar to the Screwfix ones too. If these are as good as S-fix turbo gold, its a bargain. If they are just silver screw equiv, then no thanks.

Much prefer the turbogold but try to buy them when on offer, a few of the smaller ones are only a quid (ish) for 200 at the min.

Well spotted, not bad sizes either with decent savings against previous price.

They really dig in well too, the thinner ones don't need pilot holes. Since first trying these I rarely use anything else, am currently fitting out a shop for my OH and was gutted I had none to hand and had to make do with what came out of a stud wall. Wasn't meat to be in til Wednesday so was an impromptu bit of demolition/fixing, only had what was in my hand tools bag.

A house built with screws 😶
Sounds interesting.
Can you post a pic?

If they're identical, why not pay less?
When comparing this offer with the B&Q deal it is interesting to note the different balance of sizes.

The B&Q pack has more of the sizes that I seem to use a lot of and no more of the sizes that I don't. Both are loaded with the smaller cheaper screws. I would buy B&Q so Cold fro me.

If these are anything like their drills then stay clear. Do yourself a favour and get the Turbogolds from Screwfix.

Are turbosilver the same? Can't see a difference in spec, some cheapish 45mm ones here:

Don’t think there’s much difference to be honest. Either way, they’d be better than these
Just looked at these instore, the longer ones actually do look similar to turbogold with the cut out tip but the shorter are more like standard goldscrew.

Way overpriced in my opinion the turbogold
Just purchased these in store for a project and I’m impressed with the quality for a tenner. The case is good quality too

What is it you're using? I won't buy anything else nowadays, nothing comes close at the price if you can't be bothered with pilot holes. That said I got a trade case very cheap about 6 years back and now just buy the ones I need as and when rather than buying mixed boxes. Probably got 20 unopened boxes of various sizes at home that I grabbed when under a penny each.

After viewing these I was tempted, they are 50% less than the same style turbogold case currently and seem much better than the usual tat you see in aldi. I have no use for a lot of the ones in there though.

Look up toolstation code 61835

Give a packed of those a go I think they are excellent, used sizes from 40 to 150mm I would say as good as risser-cutter (toolstation)

I had no idea they did free delivery! I use screwfix as they are very close to my house so can C&C, I've put some 60/80/100mm on order so will see what they're like later this week.

The supplied bit easily lasts through a pack or more, the T30 even made it though impact driving 150mm ones through 2x75mm joists

Let me know what you think of them as they are my screw of choice at the moment money/performance wise

For one minute I thought you were in with a pitch for Grand Designs lol.
I've missed a good screw for a while since I've had sciatica.
I'm also looking for a good screw, but will these do?

The few I got to use were great, but I'm passive aggressive fighting with a 75 year old that wants to put nails in everything! Not yet sure if I prefer them to the turbogold, the T20 (or was it T25?) heads seem a better driver and my drill seems to drive them better than PZ2s. I certainly won't rule them out in future, but I need to use them a bit more first.

I found some screws with teeth in the bottom 5mm of thread that really work well in slatboard, but no idea where I got them! Must find out as they countersunk really well.
