Found this while browsing the HMV website. This is a great documentary about WWII and an excellent price for the collection. The same boxed set is going on play for £75, the cheapest found excluding HMV is ASDA at £60.

I have ordered mine, love the WW2 stuff, hope this helps someone.

Hope the links works too I'm new at this........

just been reading some reviews on play.com for it. sounds like a must have. just wish i had some ££ left from xmas to buy it

hopefully it'll stay at this price or get lower for when i get paid at the end of the month.

Been this price for at least 5 months now!

Hardly hot i picked this up a few years ago at makro for about 12 quid

Didn't the Daily Mail give these away free in their newspapers with some promotion, I'm pretty sure the cover rings a bell?

rings a bell, but until its show here for cheaper i voted hot.

yeah it's been at this price for ages, cheapest on HMV was £29.99 when they had it on sale, the guy who said he got it from makro for £12 is really lucky, I'm still waiting till they drop the price to under £20 before I'm buying.

Man - I paid abot £80 for this a few years ago - great price

Is this worth the money? I'm really getting into my WWII history after watching the band of brothers box set and would love something else (more factual) to watch.

This is without doubt the best documentary series on World War II ever produced

Absolutley - one of the best box sets you will ever see. Buy it I promise you woint regret it a bit.

It used to be on BBC2 all the time. Back when BBC2 showed anything that wasn't cookery programs or gardening shows.

ive never seen it go below 29.99,but anyone without it needs it the footage and info for anyone who likes a bit of history is amazing.

Totally agree. With narration by Laurence olivier a truelly superb series

is there a trailer or anything for this lot flying around? i've checked ebay but i just keep getting call of duty trailers lol.

You must be very lucky getting an 11 disc boxed set for £12 bargain of the century i think, but it was a few years ago we want bargains now....credit crunch is on remember.

I like you have a Makro account and go regularly I must have missed it, damn. But unfortunately not everyone has a) A business to own a Makro Card and b) A Makro on their doorstep. Remember Quidco brings it down by £2.45 and free deliver saves you £6, so might as well take a tenner of it.

And who wants to waste time and money on travelling out in this the coldest spell in decades, I ordered this from my warm cosy bed and its been delivered to my house....internet shopping is great.

If you can find it cheaper just now, please drop me a message.

Yes you are right they were giving them away with the Daily Mail.

It was only 10 of the 26 episodes and didnt include the 8 bonus episodes released to DVD, but well spotted.
