Good grief - world nursery rhyme week? Whatever next, lol. Head added for the find OP, I wouldn't like to see nursery rhymes disappearing and they do seem to be fading out in favour of other things.

Most weird interpretation I overheard in my local library coming from the tot's group. The lady in charge sang, "Two little dickie birds sitting on a wall, one named Peter, the other one Pete".

What? That doesn't rhyme. What happened to Paul, did he fall out with someone? Has he been replaced? I need to know.

(I mentioned it to the library staff that I was talking to at the time, they said she always sings that, so perhaps Paul is the name of her ex, lol)
