Husband wants one for Christmas. I know it's not as good a deal as the one found for £25 in another Homebase. This one has the laser for precision cutting and 3 blades, excellent reviews. Nearest in price I could see was Argos for £60. It is clearance as Homebase are discontinuing WORX but my local had at least 50 of them. That's weedon road, Northampton. Cannot be click and collected.
Must add a thank you to dusan whose original cheaper posting made me go and have a look in Homebase.

Yeah, I queried it with my Homebase. Basically, each store has the ability to set a price on how much stock they have. The more stock of a particular item, the cheaper it will be. Frustrating as I'm after a little drill and my store has only knocked a few quid of whereas other stores have it for less than 1/2 price

I brought one of these for £25 in the Knaphill branch yesterday. Don't know if there's any left but there was about 20 there if it's any use to anyone

What do you use it for? I was keen on the idea but couldn't find a use for it..

I don't use power tools as I nearly took my eye out once try to get a tree root up with a jigsaw and in the same week with the same jigsaw nearly went into a plug socket whilst making a hole in a kitchen cupboard. However, if you look on Amazon at the reviews, there are all sorts of uses for them. I wasn't going to get my husband one as he has far too many tools, but the reviews swayed me.

Homebase are a bit random imho. Bought quite a few very cheap light fittings (as well as the saw) a week ago from the Loughton store. Went back today during my lunch hour and they only have a few light fittings left but some prices have gone back up!!! If you are clearing stock then surely better to clear rather than hang on to a few that just clutter the store? No Worx saws left as far as i could see though. Glad i bought mine when i did at £30.

Model trains, i am pulling up my current layout and its brilliant for cutting the MDF boards into smaller bits.

when i am ready to install new sheets of MDF it will come in very handy for cutting them to size.

You have to ask the manager for more discount - our store had them for £50 and I offered £30 and he sold it to me - I then asked for some more off some other bits and he said basically I could have 50% off.

Bought in Lewes Homebase for £30. Dont think they have any left. Around the £50 mark in 3 other Homebase stores nearest to me. Dreadful discounting practice but absolutely fantastic saw for round the home DIY. I would like to give it some heat but Homebase sucks at the min.

I agree, HB pricing is different in every store at the moment, but I have literally just collected 2 from Wandsworth store at £25 each. Why 2? Because as extra blades cost £10+, I live in Cornwall, work in London and do DIY at both. I had to contact the store manager as when I fist went in they were £59.98 each and when I asked for pricematch was told that 'deal' had ended...how can an end of line clearance deal end whilst they still have stock? So contacted store manager and she sorted it. HB do price match, happy to post pic of receipt if anyone wants to try and pricematch / get a partial refund. .,,
