I have one of these WORX mini circular saws and it's proven very useful for some smaller jobs where a full size circular saw is a bit too brutal. Made some very fine, accurate cuts in laminate when I was installing a new kitchen and I used a diamond blade (not included) to cut a few ceramic tiles too. The included TCT blade will even cut thin metal.

I think this is the least powerful one of these saws in the WORX range but perfect for the right job and a massive reduction on clearance at Argos. 3 year warranty too!

Unfortunately the Argos stock finder was down as I posted this so I was unable to establish how much stock is around but as it's on clearance they could be a bit thin on the ground. Do check first before making a journey!

Just 3 in all Argos stores in UK,
Do you need a workbench to use it??
None in NI
You love your Worx stuff eh? I've got one of these, it's alright BUT it has a tendency to wander and the guide is useless- when you try and tighten it up all it does is bend the metal lug that the bolt passes through. It's alright for what it is, and to be fair there really isn't anything better for the money (at this price).

3 year warranty too, they are good little tools
Got one of these from homebase before the aussies moved in, very useful piece of kit well worth owning
409 miles to nearest in stock. Shame as I needed one of these.

Keep an eye out on Amazon, they've been down to this price several times over the last few years- in fact I'm inclined to think I paid even less on a lightning deal.

Mains and full size saw - good price but not really an alternative.

I used it on a Workmate type of bench and that's excellent.

Wouldn't like to say, having never used one. I suppose it depends what you need it for. That's got a deeper cut and much more power than the Worx one, but the Worx can plunge cut and might be useful in more confined spaces, being smaller. The guide bracket on that Energer one is a proper one that the guide bar passes through, so you won't have the same issues there that the Worx one does, and also the Energer one will mitre cut which again the Worx won't. If you don't need the plunge cut facility, then on paper at least the Energer is probably the better purchase, but really other than that I couldn't say. One thing I would say about Worx's warranty though- good luck trying to contact them if you ever need to use it.

Stock checker still not working for me (seems to be an Argos issue):

"Sorry, this service is AWOL right now… we’re working on it. Please come back later to search again".

Lanark now out of stock.
Have a look on B&Q store as I've bought a similar one (110mm blade size) last Sunday for £43 as part of their clearance sale. Similar item posted is priced at £27...:)
Nearest stock 211 miles away to me 🤔
I brought one of these in b&q on Monday. £27 reduced from £60 (it’s the corded one) good price I thought?! Got mine in castle Bromwich store in Birmingham. Also selling drills for £100

Cheers for the info, picked one up. Too good to miss out and 3 year Warranty. Luckily they were in the end of the tools section and not in their main clearance section. Still 3 left when I brought mine earlier.
Bought the cordless version with laser from argoose for £34 I think it was just before xmas
