Has anyone got this? I have reserved to collect today. Just wanted to know the lawnmower model. I believe it’s WG779.2?

Mower model is WG927E, this is the newer model that has a slightly bigger cutting width.
I bought the 778 model when Argos were selling them off in January.
Much lighter than my previous petrol lawnmower.
Have 2 Worx drills as well.
Battery life not brilliant when batteries are new, OK when they have been charged a few times.
Just purchased it today. Will post with a review when I've tried it out!

So tempted, but will await your review, my lawn is about 200sq meters so in theory both batteries should do, but that’s their specs....

A 34cm lawnmower is very small for a 200sqM lawn. maybe you'd be better off with something like this?:

I did go and have a look at this earlier. They only had one and the box was all bartered and badly sealed. I decided that the Worx set was better as you can get many other tools that use the same batteries.

I picked mine up today. Will post an update when I’ve had a chance to use them. Hopefully this weekend.

A couple left in my local Aldi yesterday but they're selling fast. Additional batteries will be available from their service agent.

I's prefer without the trimmer
I wouldnt bother with it ive got about 150m2 lawn and have to charge twice the batteries to do it. Really think about give it back but i dont know if they will accept return if i used it
I bought this today, and the battery overheated after 10 mins! I may have been trying to cut the grass too low as it cut out about 3-4 times before this.
Do they both use the same model of battery pls?

Same battery - Lawn mower uses 2 and the strummer uses 1. Found both work well now after a few uses

Ok, here's my review after using them twice now. I've live in modern 2 bed semi, with an average sized front and rear lawns. It's hard to give a size,if you think about in terms of car park space sizes, it's about 4 at the front and around 5-6 at the rear.

First use;
The grass was partly wet and quite tall in places. I placed the height adjustment about 3 slots from the top so that it had a chance to get through the longer areas. I did use on of the batteries in the trimmer to begin with to cut along the edges. I also had it set on turbo mode the whole time. it almost lasted long enough to do the trimming and front and back lawns (in turbo mode). However it dropped to 2 bars and then would cut out as the battery had drained. I will also point out that I was mulching the grass and hadn't realised that the door at the back wasn't open, and therefore grass was collecting around the blade area, which probably didn't help!

Second use;
This time I used one battery in the trimmer to trim the edges of the front grass and then the 2nd battery to trim the rear garden. I then put both batteries into the mower and set it to Eco mode as the grass was now dry. I lowered the cutting height to around half way, or I think position 4. This time it had plenty of battery power to do both lawns after using the trimmer.

Conclusion; I am very pleased with them. For me personally, living in a small 2 bed semi, this set is perfect and it means I will be mowing regularly instead of letting the grass get really long. I'm moving more towards cordless products having also recently made the switch to a Dyson V7 motorhead pro! Going cord free is definitely the way forward.
