Brushless and with metal gears. Save 1/3rd off original price (was £149.99).

According one of the reviews, the model number is WX373.2. The Torque is an impressive 60N.m which seems way better than other drills at this price.

This is the best one I can find around the £100 price. Are there any professionals who can suggest a better alternative before I order this one?

I need it for some heavy duty DIY including screwing down floorboards into joists, drilling into lintel (for putting up blinds) etc..

Thanks

For the price its not bad. Worx kit always has good spec for the price. Though in my experience it hasn't always lasted. I had a similar (brushed) drill and the chuck went off centre after a small amount of masonary drilling. A replacement was offered but I ended up going for a Makita instead. Definitely worth it.

Yeah Mikita are your better option, unless you can afford a Hilti that is lol

Not heard of 'Mikita' before, are they Chinese?

Thanks for your advice (here and on other drill related posts), especially to you James. Lucky I decided to hold off this one and saw the post for the Makita 456 on Amazon for £124.99. Hopefully it'll last for years to come.

Thanks again.

If it helps, I bought one of these a few months ago and it's awesome. replaced a Makita drill and I haven't looked back...
