just bought a mouse sander recently but this would have been a better investment. Good price, have some heat

I've got the 500w one, and its a good bit of kit.

Where can I buy the other blades? I need one to cut into brick walls

You're probably more into angle grinder territory there, these are ok for the odd bit of tile cutting but the bits soon wear out for anything more strenuous.

I have the Bosch version, don't attempt to cut into a brick wall

Ditto, from the hukd thread! Ordered this too, might be able to return the black&decker bought from amazon, can't have been that long ago!

Yes, likewise from the hukd thread
I might do the same. Return it for this one. I really needed a detail sander but this can do a few extra tasks as and when required, except erm cutting into a brick wall it seems

Plus, this is a good deal, half the price of the amazon listing. Surprised it hasn't been voted hot yet

I thin the amazon one has a lot more blades and replacement sanding pads though. Unsure as to whether they are worth the extra though...

Extra 15% off this weekend due to bank holiday too?

Showing at £69.99 now alas.

Drat.... just what we needed too

Next cheapest I can find is at Argos - £59.99

Looks like it's back to normal price, shame it would have made a good addition to my tools

I have one of these (or at least a very similar model) and they're fantastic. I used it for cutting through floorboards without ruining them. Not a tool that gets used a lot but really appreciate having it for specific jobs. Worth stocking up on spare blades as they can wear out quite quickly.

Keep an eye out for the Aldi ones, I think they go for £29.99 every now and again. Seem very well made, I've used it as a sander and to cut the floorboards/porch off across the front of a shed, but it has loads of uses.
