I own 6 batteries from various Worx tools so buying the body only is a no brainer. I'm sure I'm not the only slightly addicted Worx twerp...I watched the video too

Maybe a silly question but can anyone confirm if this can use regular spools that are being sold on eBay in 100m rolls or does it only accept worx branded wire?

Yes but those are what 10 m maybe, I've seen 100m of spool for like 12-13 pounds
Just ordered to replace a Lidl Parkside strimmer that ONLY lasted a few months!! - THANKS!
true but unless you do gardening for a living do you need that much .
remember battery not included
I've taken the plunge and bought the one with 1 battery, hopefully can use spool from other manufacturers as well.

Thank you for posting.

You can fill your own spools with strimmer cord, cheaper
Are there any decent ones that use blades and not spools of plastic cord?

Why in the world would you want plastic blades, that is a terrible idea if I ever heard one.

I read that they break very easily, it would pain to stop to change them everytime.

I'd imagine you'd need to wear shin protectors with blades

I had one once and it was really good, might have been a Black and Decker, far better than the line ones I've had since.

What about the blades, didn't they break easily? say when you hit slightly thicker plants. On all the reviews of trimmers with plastic blades that I have read this has always been a top complaint.

PS: Just had a look on youtube at some plastic blades heads, and they looked terrible for durability, now I wonder how long it will actually take until they put out like metal chain blades, that is probably the ultimate weed cutter one

Mine has arrived. The wheels are in a small box glued into the main box. Easy to mistake for packaging. I'm going to try it in a minute.

The blades didn't break that easily that I can remember. As sheer coincidence, there have been some chain type grass cutters on AliExpress and BG this week. I can only imagine that there are a lot of limbless gardeners in China...
