The Worx 1100W Chainsaw is a compact powerhouse. It offers a powerful 1100W motor in a lightweight and efficient 35cm design. It has a low-maintenance auto-tensioning chain system to help extend the life of the bar and chain. It is ideal for light to medium duty trimming, cutting and pruning and to clean up around the garden.

Setting the right chain tension has never been easier, forget having to grapple with spanners and allen keys; you can loosen and tighten the chain manually and then the chain management system automatically kicks in to maintain the correct tension.

I made a rack for mine and keep them above the fireplace.
This will go great with my suspiciously authentic mask, and my dishevelled house.

Heat!

Real men have bigger than 25cm!
Cheap enough but 1100W precludes it from all but the lightest of tasks I would think.

When available is the key part of that statement though, is it available? If so feel free to post

And petrol, no limits on distance of manliness then.
I used a corded chainsaw once - never again.
Not voting either way - just wouldn't spend money on one.

Maybe not but some people would prefer to wait based on useful information like this!

Depends what you use it for, if for firewood it's nice not to have the racket of a petrol chainsaw on all the time.

Screwfix Titan one is always this price, it’s bigger and more powerful.
I can’t think of a use for this ever unless they are good for hedge trimming

How about as a bottle opener?
Wickes had the next model up (WG303e - 2000w model) mislabbelled and therefore mispriced as this model. I paid £49.99, less 10% trade discount.

In terms of power, I demolished a large truck load of unseasoned field maple.

Real men don't need a chainsaw to validate themselves.

They are not, they rip and tear so will give a rubbish finish on a hedge or anything if you cut just thin flexible whippy stuff.
Bought the titan from screwfix last week, very impressed, easily cuts through 8" dia logs, same price as the worx but 2000w and 40cm blade. I have owned a petrol chainsaw but prefer this electric version.

You post a deal for a chainsaw. I see another item off of my Zombie apocalypse check list.
Are these light enough to dual wield?
Not sure why chainsaws get so much stick on here. Worx is a decent brand and usually carry a 3 year warranty. I bought a Ryobi chainsaw from Very that got hammered in reviews but its a breeze to use and cut through a fairly hefty tree like butter. I am sure this onw will prove very useful for most tasks.
