Description

The Worx WG305E Chainsaw combines a high powered motor with high speed chain for optimal cutting performance. It automatically adjusts chain tension and lubricates the blade for you, so you can concentrate on the job in hand. Additional safety features include a chain brake that stops the blade in less than half a second, steel bumper spikes and low kickback so you're always in control.

Hassle-free tension control - setting the right chain tension has never been easier. Forget having to grapple with spanners and Allen keys - you can loosen and tighten the chain manually and then the chain management system automatically kicks in to maintain the correct tension.

Ouch - I checked a good few random post codes and for all of em I found stock closeby, coz personally I don't like the wild geese in-stock deals either, but this felt reasonably well stocked.
I bought one of these yesterday, tried it on a 200mm thick log today, really impressed.

Thanks buddy
The only thing holding back electric chainsaws is the cord!
To a degree I mean this sincerely, if you are cutting firewood a petrol chainsaw is just too annoying with the noise.

Suppose with battery powered ones its hard to get that much erm power ?
Good product providing you only cut down small trees or branches.

chain blunt very quickly and drank lots of oil.

just my opinion and way cheaper than petrol chain saw

10" Cutting blade a bit on the small side, reviews say it eats chains. Not for me.

I saw this and could only think of one tree in my garden that I could get away with attacking. I then started thinking about which neighbours had trees.

3 in Darlington and 4 in northallerton.. they're the closest to Newcastle with stock in

Don’t need this, but kinda want it
Is this good enough to chop up the mother in law?
Doesn't have the same fear impact as a petrol one, you're limited with distance for scaring people. Last thing you want in the plug coming out... What would Jason say.....

Milwaukee do an M18 battery chainsaw
Bargwarn of the century. I have one and it's fab. Didn't bat an eyelid cutting up whole fallen ash tree.

Some are great, but they cost, Milwaukee, as above springs to mind.

Thanks, those are good, but indeed quite pricey as compared to these ones - there is a reason for that though

Blimey. I have been eyeing the stihl ones but just dont really need it. But the m18 is double the price!
I own a petrol chainsaw but I really want to buy this. This site is a bad influence

Depending on where you buy!

The bare tool is £349 at FFX but less than $299 in the US

FFX sell on eBay, as do power tool mate so you can sometimes see them appear in the selected sellers discount that eBay do regularly.

If you need batteries and a charger, it’s not as useful as the M18 system isn’t cheap.
Do Quidco offer slashback on this?
