I have this set and from my experience wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy......of the two batteries I got, one has died, the other barely lasts 20minutes.
The mower will only cut grass that has been maintained, so the first cut of the season I had to borrow a mower, and the strimmer goes through cord like crazy.
Maybe I just got unlucky......

What size batteries are you using? 2ah? Or 4ah?

The 2ah supplied. And mower needs both to work!! So out of action until I replace battery which are £40ish each.
Never mind.
Conversely, mine is great.
Manages to cut long grass. Batteries last pretty well. I've got a few Worx tools, so I do have the 4ah batts too, but I use the supplied 2ah ones in the mower, and they last just long enough to do front and rear gardens in a single charge.
I've been after the strimmer, but I'm not buying another mower to get it!
Bought the older model with the 40v battery.... love it!
I got this set and its great, on a single charge front and back yard done. I have also the drill and bateries last much longer than in my previous two bosch that died after a year.
Guess I was just unlucky then!!

How can one battery last 20 mins when you need both for mower to work?

Just bought the WORX WG157E.9 18V from Amazon, for a shade under 35 quid. It doesn't come with batteries but I have a few worx drills, so interchange, so far so good with this strimmer. The strimmer I purchased is a different model than the one in this deal.
Pretty sure you need both 20v batteries in this at the same time to be able to hit the required voltage for use, so not sure how people are saying they can get buy with one? I've found for electric mowers that unless you have a quite a small or intricate lawn, something bigger than 34 cm is better or at the very least, bigger or multiple (at least four in this case) 2AH batteries are required.

Works well if you have a small lawn thes batteries last about 20min, you have to mow before strimming as the mower needs both batteries to be charged the same amount, its cuts a lot better than corded flymo I had and I now cut the grass more often because its much more convenient.
great for small gardens it will cut long grass if you raise it up i would buy it again not got that strimmer
