Wouldn’t buy a worx product ever again

Replacement parts won’t ship to Northern Ireland for some reason and the two worx tools I have had something break within 6 months
The 2 Worx batteries are worth more than the drill itself if you were to purchase separately.

Good deal as long as 30Nm and 10mm chuck is sufficient for you.

Lucky they have a 2 year guarantee then - or 3 years if you can be bothered to register for it!

Replaceable parts aren’t covered by the guarantee apparently (literally just off the phone this morning)

What problems have you had with Worx. I had a pressure washer from them and have no issues. I live in Northern Ireland as well.

What parts? I don't think the sanpaper in your kit will be covered!

PS Batteries have a shorter warranty I think but even then they won't "break" within 6 months. Let's have the facts and we'll decide whether your commebnt about WORX is valid.

So you work for worx huh? Well good for you

My opinions are just that, mine , and if you don’t like them move on. I certainly never asked you to “decide” anything, or for that matter try to bully me into changing my mind .

So let me give you my opinion in very clear language :

I personally will NEVER buy a worx tool again, as I find them to be on the low end of the quality spectrum and the after care is atrocious, almost non existent. If you are an avid DIY’er save some money and get a better product. If you are going to use this once a year maybe twice to hang a picture then it’s maybe good value

And for your part Besford , if you don’t work for worx then you really need to calm down
I've had a pretty good experience with Worx products. Bought a Worx 12V cordless drill over 3 years ago, its had a fair bit of use as a drill and screwdriver and the drill and lithium batteries have been great.
Also bought a Worx cordless strimmer 10 years ago, it gets loads of use every summer and still works great..... and amazingly the NiCad battery still holds a good charge.
So i cant fault Worx products.
I have used mine extensively for about 2 years. Mixes plaster, drills block/wood, screws with plenty of torque. Pretty useless for drilling the brick on my house but have a 240v SDS for that.

May may get another as the batteries are on their way out now

I would like to know what parts are not covered also as I have just bought one and will return if certain things are not covered. What broke on yours and is not covered?
There's so many different models of these, I've got 3 now. I'm woman too lol

As an example the strimmer wire housing (not just the spoil but the cap and actual housing , plastic just shattered I don’t know what broke free and shredded it but something did ) broke on mine after using it maybe a dozen times not through misuse and most likely just unlucky , no bid deal I thought, I wasn’t even looking for the part for free but I’d have happily bought it.... nope can’t get it . I now own a cordless paperweight

I’m going to try to return it if I can find the receipt but I’ll be damn lucky if I can

I was on the phone with them for all in 2 1/2 hours today

It’s just not worth it, I learned my lesson... an extra £50-£70 and I’d be in the professional range pricing

Same here for some extra ££ you can buy a makita (there was one posted about 10 minutes ago I think)

So you still don't want to tell us what has led to your outburst, specifically what parts. Maybe your experience would be useful to others.

No, I don't work for them. I'm simply a satisfied WORX customer who is puzzled by your comment but keen to learn what they have or have not done to make you so angry.

Thanks for that, this is exactly what I have bought (the trimmer and lawnmower pack). Was going to get this deal as well so I had a drill and some additional batteries to use in the mower. I got it from Argos so will hold onto the receipt and see how it goes over the next few weeks. Thanks for the info

Still no facts to support your nasty rant then! Wew get the fact that you don't like WORX for some unspecified reason but if you want others to agree you'll have to explain what went wrong.

Worx are brilliant. After 2 years of constant use, my multi tool is slowing up. I emailed them and they are going to pick it up via their own courier. If they can’t repair they’ll replace. I have every single worx item available, from drills, sds, multi tool, impact driver, work light, strimmer, mower, etc etc. ALL fantastic, and universal batteries which fit Erbauer/guild/Titan/jcb and few others too I think
