Nothing you can do with this that you can't do with a chainsaw.

I'd love to see some pictures of your home DIY repairs carried out with the chainsaw

I have one - I thought it would be really useful but it's an OK tool, no more. After purchase Worx quibbled with my online registration so I didn't receive the guarantee. I can't help feeling the same attitude would hold if you had to claim on the guarantee....
I have no experience of the B&Q version, but I would be tempted to save a fiver...
I need to do some dismemberment over the Easter period would this suffice my project??

No. You really want a reciprocating saw for that. This just doesn’t have a deep enough cut but good at taking fingers off. You should get yourself a wood chipper too.

I’ve got one of these and it’s great for trimming wood and laminate. Handy when you don’t want the weight of a circular saw

The CPS kept the ones of my DIY chainsaw job on the ex husband...
I've got a corded saw and a cordless one..... Do I need this?
It's a bit like when ipads came out and people asked if they needed one if they have a netbook. No but they are handy.

Couldn't imagine cutting floorboards tongues with a chainsaw.
Not saying it wouldn't be fun.
The Aldi one for £49.99 is so much better than this, I found this grossly underpowered, the Aldi one is 710W and kicks a$$.
