I have this, pretty handy. Had the lower powered version first and sent it back, it kept veering off. This version was much better
Too much obstacles and casing "at front". Is about 3cm - is not possible cut up to end, only need second tool.
A reason chasing may occur using tools like this can be due to the thickness of the blade and the material the blade is made out of. During extended use as the blade heats up it can warp blade tips resulting in chasing / veering motion. Larger circular saws usually give a cleaner finish.

Thanks for the info, mine took a flying vacation across the garage the other day for doing this. Was wondering why.
Is it single or variable speed? 710w seems a lot

I have the lower powered one (400w from memory) and it cant cut the skin off a rice pudding. Only any use for cutting really thin material. The bigger motor on this one might make a difference.
Good for accurate cuts on thin material.
The laser guide fails very quickly.
Why would anyone buy this when they could buy this:

Seems like the same thing, but with a mitre guide, and it's even cheaper.

Smaller blade so less cutting depth (28mm vs 46mm), and this one allows angled cuts already. Oh and it comes in a case, if that is important.
