Are these things any good? I'm interested in how much use I'd get out of it around the house and garden
Thank you OP

It's a GREAT little tool. I'm not a DIY man but with so many attachments. From sanding to cutting metal. I have used it alot, much more than I thought. Build quality is very good. Not too heavy but a nice weight. Shame it has a cord but for the price it's a real steal.
Brilliant tool...covers so many jobs with ease ...well worth the money.
Excellent tool. I’ve had the Bosch one for 12 years - used for lots of jobs. Bought it to take the bottoms off doors without unhinging when I raised the carpets. Did a great job. My Bosch has now bust, this has come at a great time - Thanks OP!

I think you're right, it looks great!
Got something similar, really handy but if kit. I’d recommend having decent blades.

Seconded!
Would this cut through a brick?
Ordered thanks

Presumably the sanding pads are attached via velcro?

Anybody know of a good source for replacement pads?
I’ve got a dewalt cordless one. Suppose it depends what you will use it for but I love it, but really couldn’t be chewed plugging it in all the time. Done all sorts with mine and has same 5mAH battery as my dewalt drill, which last for ages. Redoing our living room we used it for stripping wallpaper behind old radiators, getting skirting /caulk off the walls, sanding right spots, cutting carpet off the old floor as was spray glued down and cutting through some ducting. Done all kinds of jobs around the house with it.

Agree with others, these are great tools. Really useful for awkward areas. Wouldnt want to use for long without ear defenders on though.
Can someone find a good deal for blades that suit? :). Bought one last time it was on offer and not disappointed. Better than others in the same class that I'd used

Aldi or Lidl when they have them in - normally once or twice a year. Or try Aldi online.
The cheap battery versions are rubbish, burned two out,. now got the corded one and much better.
Ordered, thanks
Too late for this deal but are these good at removing tile grout?
