Yeah Stihl every day of the week!
These are too bulky I think.
Stihl as well from me, but you are talking twice the price for a Stihl Disc cutter vs this !

I agree Stihl do seem a little more easy to use, but also think that the newer model Makita is a good machine to.
I already own both being a roofer we use them every day.
However I think this Makita at over half the price of a Stihl with a 3 year warranty is worth every penny.

What you're saying is for 300 quid this is a stihl...
Id go for a used stihl at this price. Just make sure you can get it off a seller with a decent reputation.
Probably cheaper to pay the clamping fine
Not the price shown

Thanks, always go for the Stihl(lasts me 3-4 years), I thought maybe was missing if not having a try on something different.
I've had one of these for over 5 years now, regular service and correct fuel mixture and will keep going and going. Normally buy Stihl but will buy these from now on,I quite like extra weight it feels more sturdy
OP time to bin this post. Shame, I would have jumped in.

I will expire it now. Pretty sure it was a price error. Explain why it didn't last long.
Never seen it under £300 in all the years its been out.
Shame you missed the deal... I made sure I ordered mine before I put it on here.....
