Isn't 'Martin Mere' nearby, that's worth a visit. Also there used to be a Sunday Antique fair in area, get there early for the bargains.

golfie

There's some miserable people. How about rivington? They even have a go ape. There is Cuerden valley, yarrow valley. Some nice restaurants not too far away. Foot golf and karting not far off. I quite like it round here. There is a canal not too far off with pubs a plenty.

TheMagnificentSpoon

It’s not too far away from Martin mere wetlands. Cannot think of another reason to spend any time here

I'm sorry I don't have the documentation, but it must have been different because there was never any mention of '3 months', it was always '1 month' that they kept mentioning. My first breakdown was because of electronic handbrake, and the second breakdown was a gearbox failure. So yes, unrelated.

horsey

Mine sailed through, even with its catalytic converter rattling like a washing machine full of spanners. (I was actually expecting to have to replace it...) What is a reflective triangle supposed to do? It's daylight and it's 5m in front of the car. It needs to be 45 metres away (I looked that up, I'm not that clever... (cheeky) )

MiniMax

From these policy docs (both value and premium): > 5. If requested You must provide evidence of your Vehicle’s MOT (where applicable) and/or receipts/invoices for any work that has been undertaken as a result of a Breakdown or in the recent past. > 6. Further to point 5 above, any Breakdown as a result of inadequate repair, unsuccessful DIY or any previous Breakdown We have attended in the last 3 months where the fault is in Our opinion the same, related or similar, and where no remedial action has been taken to correct the fault, shall be attended on a paid basis only. So I'm assuming you have different wording? or didn't take (or have proof of) remedial action after the first?

Well unless you have a car where the jack and wheel brace are under the bonnet (Peugeot 205 GTI for example). In reality she is probably trying to explain where her life went so wrong and why she is driving round in a left hand drive 1993 Renault Twingo! XD Kind of ironic they won't cover cars over 10 years old yet are picturing a 25 year old Renault!

That hotel used to be a Travelodge http://ccgi.hfparchitects.plus.com/joomla/images/stories/hotel/travelodgeeastbourne1.jpg I stayed there a few years ago when they were doing the £10 per room deals. We got double booked so they have us what they called the penthouse suite (a strange, split level room but with great views... It's the one on the top left of the picture with the domed roof). Yep to alllllll!. I read your earlier/previous comment on the above such ... So it's cool. Ps. MrsWitch may well have been on.tje ball in 'rectifying' such, but as per my own previous comment, I'm more than aptly 'aware' of many who are not, and/or have not ... (hence the actual nature of my initial comment, etc?, lol). But yeh, I hear you. :-) As for the intentions of the previous Poster's intentions, or whatever, hmmmmmmmmm, that's a very interesting one in it's own right I reckon ... (the latter may have been the alterior motive, though saying that, the former could have been.the alterior motive instead?, who knows? - hard to speculate). As for your Living Social response 'queries', that for me personally is VERY SCARY!!!. :-( Because I've been getting bare emails from them for some Year's now! - I'm yet to order anything from them yet (but I believe that that's actually besides the point?, lol, as I too could just as well have! - like yourself also, etc?). I'll bare your indirect warning/advice in mind for the near to distant future ...

Exactly what my original comment was about 👇🏾 Then you told me to get headphones to listen to recorded firework sounds without me even saying anything to you. Does it seem like I want to watch or listen to a firework display at a zoo?

Mark_P-97fc0.76316

Can't say I've heard of the acts, I'm not interested. Yes, fireworks exploding can be distressing to many creatures, be it a pet dog, a tiger in captivity, or a person trying to rest.

jayonline85

Lol the noises cause distress to you? Wow(excited) The best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them is the wild. I suppose prison is the best place to see and learn about humans because that’s all it is, a prison. Go ahead and cheer on S club 7 while learning about the animals in the best environment. Don’t forget your s club t shirt (unicorn)

Mark_P-97fc0.76316

If you like the noises so much you could just listen to some pops and bangs you've recorded on headphones. I'd rather have no noise than a noise that causes distress- thinking about it I think bonfire night as a whole would be better without the noises that go on and on all through the season. Obviously the park is a business, but it has a charity, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation, which does try and help preserve endangered species in their own habitat, as well as captivity. The thing I like about this place is that the animals are not in tiny spaces. Some of them are taken from conventional zoo's are rehomed, the lions from Romania is the example I think most of us are aware of, who were poorly fed (on chicken if I recall) and in horrifically small cages. I'm sure it's not perfect, but it's the best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them that I have seen.

jayonline85

What’s the point in watching a silent firework display? Imagine a silent bonfire night XD If the park cares more about the animals why aren’t they free in the wild rather than making profit from them in tiny spaces if they’re not on the endangered species list :/

how is unfurnished tent glamping? surely its just camping?

davidbrent

I booked at a similar site up North from a previous deal on here. The ‘pods’ were too close together, inevitably ended up next to an extended family, yes, you know the ones. Lager cans, thrown cigarettes, kicked footballs, shouting and screaming feral children of indeterminate sex, just a few feet from your head. Like most things in life, it’s the people that ruin things. Never again.
