Paid £6.97 for this cam 3 days ago from Banggood.

LOL... 1st 'Banggood' review just about sums it up: ''100% not 110 degree viewing angle it's more like 70 degrees. Motion sensor rarely gets triggered. All apps (iPhone, Android and especially the PC) are useless and battery drainers on mobile devices. All online authentication is insecure and without SSL (HTTPS). Camera only saves videos in 640x480 @ 15fps using a non-standard format (av extension) and videos cannot be converted with sound. No tools are provided to playback or convert videos outside a mobile device. Videos that are captured (and trust me not many) are choppy and grainy when played back on a mobile device''

Picture not that good if I'm being honest, though I have to remember the past, where something like this in my youth would have been about 3k... oh and mine was less than 20 of t'ebay..

Electric oral b toothbrush, cheap xmas present?

yve67 & bargainfan - All the electric toothbrushes I have ever seen are battery operated. The fact that some run on rechargeable batteries makes no difference. In any case, you can run non-rechargeable ones, like the one in this posting, on rechargeable batteries if you want to, using a separate charger instead of an integrated one. If you think that non-rechargeable ones are not as good, then you must be using poor quality batteries; alkaline are best for a toothbrush.

I agree with the comments that you can get Braun toothbrushes like this one for around £5 so I have voted cold.
Edited by: "RayB" 8th Sep

Not the cheapest price for this toothbrush, but i have this exact model and it is excellent imv. Decent rechargeable batteries drive it fine, plenty powerful enough. Does a great job. Hot, since it's good quality and well engineered.

£7 at Amazon, if you don't what to spend time or money going to an actual shop to get it "cheaper".

Compared to the rechargeable versions, these are pathetically weak and slow.

These have been available at Iceland (bigger stores) for some time.

Thanks op.The best non Nespresso pods I've tried are the LOR branded ones, which are often on offer at Asda £2 for 10. The pods are aluminium and work just as well as the official ones in my Inissia machine, with good flavour.Ive bought the Starbucks ones a few times before when they have been on offer, but I've found that I have a 50% success rate. The capsules seem to get crushed by the pressure very easily, and more water ends up in the drip tray than the cup.The Taylor's pods (Also sold as Asda Extra Special) also have good flavour, and work reasonably well in my machine.

The Taylor's pods are the same as ASDA's Extra Special? Are you sure?
I bought two packs of Taylor's limited edition capsules a couple of weeks ago and one pack of ASDA's Extra Special just to see what they were like. I thought both pods looked very similar in terms of their colour, but I didn't realise they were actually the same. Not doubting you, just curious where you found this info.

On a side note, I'm a fan of the genuine Nespresso pods, but I also think that the L'Or and Starbucks brands are pretty good. Also convenient to pick up during the weekly shop. Taylor's Limited Edition Praline is also quite good.

Use these without any issues.

NB the voucher seems to add a selection of capsules but you can manually edit the order, plus add 10 more or a descaler sachet to take off the £2.95 delivery charge.

Anyone tried the hot chocolate? Any comments?

seems the people who have problems with plastic pods are the ones with automatic machines, on my manual inissia one ive not had any issues with them.

I am saying I would assume there is a reason they would charge more, likely linked to overheads. Explain why the Blackpool one has over a 10% increase on Wirral?

I have bought this voucher and used it last week in Blackpool. While it was nice and good value for money, the pool and other facilities were essentially a health club and quite busy with people who were not hotel occupants but gym members. Looking at the Scotland photos it looks like they have better facilities and a less hectic atmosphere, thus a better quality product. I'd posit that as a contributing factor.

You're the one without any information going round calling people "dumbass" you ignorant buffoon.

They mostly run by VCs with a huge advertising budget and manipulate reviews because they know that it's a market that is distorted by retailers selling junk like silent night at falsely discounted prices. If anyone gives them a bad review they sue them. All these mattress review websites like sleepolis that have sprung up out of nowhere get paid huge amounts from all these foam companies, which is why they only review their products. It's all a huge scam. I presume it's a bit like the model used by Gyms / Cineworld where they just figure most people won't use it that much. Yeah, tbh I don't think I could be bothered to go for a drink every night (although I have kids lol). It will likely benefit the bars more than you think since once you're in there you're unlikely to just have the 'free' one and leave, and you probably won't turn up alone either. The monthly price on its own is a really good price though imo, so this is a steal!

Do they really try to fix your car, or just send local low loader recovery truck with a driver not a mechanic? Used a another service before, got a guy with a low loader. I asked him if he wanted me to pop the bonnet and he replied "no point I wouldn't know what I'm looking at".... Would rather know im getting mechanic at the roadside to at least have a chance of a fix and good opinion on problem if not.

Just noticed national recovery is their choice where you end up not yours! Deal breaker for me, if I have national recovery I want to be able to have my car taken home!

One day NUS will just stop the cards because people use them for their own benefit, and then the people who actually need them won't be able to use them! College students are recommended to work no more than 8 hours (or at least my college says), let alone full time! The minimum wage for under 18's is £4.05. That's £32.40 a week. For arguments sake, let's say it's 4 weeks pay. That's £129.60 a month, and around £1600 a year. 20% of that gets taken for keep money (more or less percentage depending on how much your parents charge) and you're left with £103.68 a month. You can argue "what will a college student use that for?" but the same could be said about what you have left, which in most cases will be more than that.A little off topic now but I am just pointing out that most of these commenters are able to afford paying the full price, they are just using it for their own benefit!

If we were all in a room together everyone would shut up and turn round to listen to you because it seemed important what you had to say.

Immediately after you finished everybody just turn back to their own conversation.

Really nobody cares about anyone else these days and everyone only looks after no 1, themselves. Especially if they can save a few pounds.

Should work for the Wowcher deal I think. It's not the one I originally posted, but I altered it when the Digital Sea was no longer accepted. Test it by finding the course provider via wowcher, and doing a dummy run on the NUS card.

Does this still work?

It looks like many epic loop holes, this one has been closed.
Let's be honest the big companies know that the NUS system has been getting milked.
It was only time before they tightened up their processes. Good while it lasted.
