I can only say I spend nowhere near that, and have consistently had £40 or more ‘cashback’ back every year as an executive member.

No reward paid on fuel and other things like tobacco. If this is the Exec Mebership they are offering, ( not sure reading the offer), then the 2% reward on your spend is an excellent deal for £33.60 in my opinion.
some of their goods are no cheaper than your local supermarket but their offers usually represent excellent value for money. I recently purchased car tyres and none of the local garages could get anywhere near their price. Hot deal from me

No they aren't. They were (I used to be an Accountant for DMGT) when Wowcher first started, then it got outsourced to another company but still owned by DMGT and now it sold off and a completely seperate entity. Not sure of the group who owns it but I know it's ran from Derby somewhere.

Just picked up a great deal on a car service for winter. Was going to pay almost £150 at a local dealer so well worth the saving.

The service is by National Tyres national.co.uk/bra…hes. Two main items changed will be Oil and Filter the other parts are test/inspection items.


Oil filter change
Oil change

Full tyre inspection
Tyre pressure check and top-up
TPMS check
Battery check
Oil level (should be correct as they changed it)
Coolant level
Brake fluid check
Overall condition check
Check tyres and rotation are correct
Check wheels are secure and torque settings correct
Check spare wheel is secure
Check locking wheel nut returned
Start-up engine and raise vehicle
Check all mountings, brackets and clamps are secure
Check manifold studs are secure
Block tail pipe and check for leaks
Tap baffle boxes to make sure nothing is loose
Check all completed brake work before wheels go back onto vehicle
Check all items are secure
Check brake fluid levels
Check for any cylinder leaks
Check handbrake and foot pedal
Carry out brake road test (5 mins driving)
Check all steering & suspension related nuts and bolts are secure
Check coil springs are bedded correctly
Check all mounts and gaiters are fitted correctly
Check steering wheel is centred
Check all tools are removed for unusual noise

Check rack gaiters are not twisted

It depends...... I service my own cars, yet need a stamp in the book to validate my used car warranty and have evidence of servicing if I want to sell it on. £59 for a stamp in the book and an oil flush seems a good price to me.

I am sorry for the cynical comment however, I assume that all gym memberships are concocted on the basis there is some kind of con trick included. I have a bad experience with gym memberships and am still bitter. Had a paralysing stroke and they would not cancel even though they said in the t&c's that medical evidence would be sufficient evidence to cancel the contract.

"Five non-consecutive gym day passes from PureGym ". Plus no joining fee.

surely that's like saying my 256kb usb stick is worth £100 (correct as of 12/11/17) such a bad thing to say in order to trick those with little knowledge of hardware

You could tell how age by looking at the design and thickness

You lot say all that BUT my wife quite happily uses Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop etc on an old G5 1.8Ghz DP cheese grater they're not slow and work plenty well enough for professional use and the printers etc never moan about file versions.

Yes it's stuck on 10.5.8 and there's no updates to any apps etc but it's plenty fast enough only upgrades used are an SSD and plenty of RAM.
