They mostly run by VCs with a huge advertising budget and manipulate reviews because they know that it's a market that is distorted by retailers selling junk like silent night at falsely discounted prices. If anyone gives them a bad review they sue them. All these mattress review websites like sleepolis that have sprung up out of nowhere get paid huge amounts from all these foam companies, which is why they only review their products. It's all a huge scam. The underlying products are very average and cheap/easy to make (worth 1/5 of the retail price), yet priced as high as high quality pocket sprung mattresses.

That's exactly what I suspected

Does that apply to sexual partners as well?

I know of someone in a tower block with a bed bug problem , who had the nerve to return her mattress and sofa, I dont know which company or store. Buying something like a refurbished hard drive is not the same as buying a refurbished mattess.

Gearbest and Ali express sell cheap UV torches , if you want to frighten yourself when shinning on someones toilet or mattress.

I presume it's a bit like the model used by Gyms / Cineworld where they just figure most people won't use it that much. The markup on drinks (especially in the city) is so high that they prob did the math and can take the risk that a few people use it a lot.. but I bet most who sign up won't rinse it.

Yeah, tbh I don't think I could be bothered to go for a drink every night (although I have kids lol). It will likely benefit the bars more than you think since once you're in there you're unlikely to just have the 'free' one and leave, and you probably won't turn up alone either. The monthly price on its own is a really good price though imo, so this is a steal!

Do they really try to fix your car, or just send local low loader recovery truck with a driver not a mechanic? Used a another service before, got a guy with a low loader. I asked him if he wanted me to pop the bonnet and he replied "no point I wouldn't know what I'm looking at".... Would rather know im getting mechanic at the roadside to at least have a chance of a fix and good opinion on problem if not.

Just noticed national recovery is their choice where you end up not yours! Deal breaker for me, if I have national recovery I want to be able to have my car taken home!

Thanks. I'm particularly interested in the heat retaining properties of the mattress. (I've stayed in cheap hotels in Paris and India they were nothing to rival the Formule 1 in Calais a few years ago the only place on a European tour where it was necessary to chain the motorbike securely. The mattress was the least of my worries! ) A lot of people are still voting this cold, think they're put off by 'renovated' but as you say, it's a max 100 days old.
