Thanks for sharing this. Just what we need.
Apart from the egg and cress one
My gym is in there, I can guarantee you one thing, it will be full of snobs and fat cats
My local garden centre do a fabulous afternoon tea - not cheap, and of course I could make/buy all the bits and pieces and produce it myself for much less - but could you not say that for any meal/carvery/breakfast anywhere? A mug of tea involves one tea bag, spot of milk and sugar for those who take it. Would it cost more than 20p? Of course not, but even a local village fete or school fayre will charge £1..... When eating/drinking out, you are not just paying for the contents, but for the experience, and the fact you are being 'waited on' - with no washing up etc after. You have always to factor in the wages of staff who serve you, staff in the kitchen preparing, staff who have to clear/wash up, sweep & mop the floors - plus those who buy the ingredients, pay the energy bill, council tax, staff pensions, employers NI, bank loans, insurance, laundry costs.......and VAT of course.
Not ONE Vegetarian sandwich...
yes afternoon tea is all about the "experience" but we are yet to experience good good in a nice environment. The best scones I have ever had were in a B&B in Devon!
My mistake, it's £39 on buy a gift. I've been and will be going again on this deal next time I'm down London. You have to buy a side to go with your meal but it's nice food, good service and free cocktail tastes like there is actually alcohol in it. Can't go wrong for that price. https://www.buyagift.co.uk/food-and-drink/2-for-1-three-course-dinner-with-champagne-cocktail-at-shaka-zulu-br-10731060.aspx
I'd probably risk it at that price!
I went and enjoyed the food. Nice restaurant although I think I only paid about £35 for same deal.
I've been there. Bland food is an understatement. Offered to treat the manager a chicken kebab from the kebab shop round the corner so he can understand how poor the chicken kebab was there and in return give me my money back for returning the food. Nasty overpriced restaurant. Nice decor though but that doesn't warrant the poor product being sold
This place is all over the deals offer websites that's the only reason its still open dont bother i have been it's crap nothing like what you would expect.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rattan-Garden-Patio-Furniture-Outdoor-Table-Chairs-Sofa-Set-Wicker-Steel-Frame/253637721323?hash=item3b0dfc7ceb:g:LIAAAOSwPGpbAsIp Very similar. Can even make an offer.
Rrp 569.01 ye righto
Me too got a lot of the same stuff. Plus some of it was sample sizes which should be given away free.
I had birch box before and tbh they were not very good at all.
Well I’ve just had mine and can’t fault it at all. Had a massive burger pint on Stella and big pudding with ice cream for 9.99 bargain of the year. Place was clean staff very friendly helped us with explaining how the who voucher think works no problems at all. If people prefer Mac Donald’s rather than this then I think they don’t have a clue. Food defo was not worth the money that we should pay as burger was like over 15 quid but like I’ve said for 9.99 I’m more than happy and would definitely recommend
I don't mind f&b's for a quick cheap eat but what's really got my goat lately (more than the food quality) is the fact that they've ditched the 50's diner style music. Last time I went I was subjected to Mariah Carey, followed by Ed Sheeran and then I do believe it was something like B*witched. What's that all about?! The music was all part of the f&b's "experience" (y)
We don't beat a path there.. Lol.. We visited Portsmouth and wanted cheapo meal to keep cost down. You wouldn't take partner their for treat. We I might at tight, plus I'd be clucking voucher (embarrassed)
personallyi think life is too short to eat at places like this IMO but each to their own
Yeah. It's pretty naff though. Puddings are good and probably the saving grace. Skip starters as terrible and some of the mains barely scrape ok. For the money with voucher is an OK deal.
I used to go there when it was a school for summer club , how things have changed !
If you want somewhere with great spa facilities look else where. Was here for a weekend and the pool gym and spa area is really really dated. It was also the coldest pool I have ever tried only got in because my partner dared me. Everything else was great though, amazing house and grounds. Great for wedding or event but just the worst place to consider for a spa day.
Hmm. TripAdvisor isn't too kind. It's £79 on all the referral sites listed there, in case you have further discounts for those instead.
Stayed here a bunch of times, can confirm it's great.
Thank you we are going next week and have been looking for some money saving tips!
unfortunatley you can't its the city rule all same price
bargin....back from Venice 3 weeks now, loved it. Beautiful city, odd smell of sewers (nothing major), lots of people (what city isnt full of people), hardly any pigeons in St Marks Sq. Gondola ride was beautiful, lots asking to share cost/ride so options available. We loved it
Hotel Filù Is a nice little up to date hotel. Places to eat ( copy pasted from a previous post I made): Its not too bad if you don't eat in St Marks square, there are also plenty of take away pasta places that are very reasonable. Also grab some snacks and stuff from the Spar! Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta To Go (just off St Marks) Pasta&Sugo (near Campo San Barnaba, as featured in Indiana Jones) - has happy hour with pasta + prosecco for 5 euros Handy (around the Jewish Ghetto) for Gelato McDonalds also in the north right of the Ghetto... get some fries and a cheap beer If you go to Murano there is a tiny little sandwich shop that makes amazing toasted sandwiches, no idea of the name but its at 87 Fondamenta Manin You can buy 1ltr of Moretti Beer from a convenience store near Handy, for 1 euro!! So Venice can be cheap!
We went August two years ago. Wasn't too crowded. Hotel splendid was excellent.. Did an evening gondola trip. Had about 3 days and really enjoyed it. Hotel window opened 1st floor onto canal and no smells. Had a meal at a top hotel restaurant, with table right next to canal. Loved Venice. Love Italy. Highly recommended.
every other weekend in Newcastle then...
Yes!!! * * girls may be substituted by boys in the event of over subscription.
Harry down the Bigg Market?!?!?!?!? Carnage!!!!!!!!!!!
Reckon one of them is after a passport and neither knows the other’s name!
Wot, you kept hold of the other half!? I take my hat off to you.
That stuff can land you in the dog pound ;)
I have one of these and the large canisters for it are only £2 in Home Bargains.
I'm surprised there haven't been any Snoop Dogg jokes...
Made me 👀 pop with the “weed burning wand”. 🤐
Patio weeds are easy to deal with, just wait for a cold morning, boil your kettle and pour boiling water on them. The hot water gets down to the roots and hey presto, weed free patio. Tap water and a few pence for the electric. Obviously it works better in early spring or autumn when the mornings are colder.
There is similar one slightly cheaper (11.75 for adult) you can find here https://www.londoneye.com/tickets-and-prices/river-cruise/
It is a very nice cruise, especially on a nice sunny day. I have always loved in London and wasn't expecting much of the cruise but I was very pleasantly surprised. Recommend it to all.
Some boats take Oyster card, not sure ?
Voucher is only valid until 23rd June
Nice way to see the city
Look at the the reviews for this company before you buy
Cold for the click bait
Yes I also saw this in my B&Q this morning for same price
Because ours was used for young kids, I mostly filled it with warm water. I used an adaptor for our kitchen tap. It takes a looooong time to fill, when I got a 10 foot one it was worse (obviously). Entertaining overexcited and impatient kids for a good couple of hours while it fills isn't fun. If you're planning on keeping them up through the summer then it's definitely worth investing in a filter and treatment kit. If you decide on a heater too the cost starts going up fast.
How would you fill this beast? Even with the small ones it's takes ages with the hose pipe but I couldn't bare cold water
Thank you I was thinking about the height of the sides to be honest & decided not to buy. Your comment views has helped me to decide & put my mind at ease
You get plenty of room but the sides aren't that high, the inflated ring is probably closer to 6 foot. You can't really lean back against the sides in them. They aren't bad but definitely better for kids in my opinion. We got a spa this year instead and it's a real improvement for adults, the kids don't get souch room though. Can't win. Lol.
Don't forget government advice, which I believe is not to go? :S
Stayed at this hotel mid May two years ago. It's lovely you can upgrade to deluxe room for a few pounds more ,think we paid £40 . Yeah it's a bit out of the way but honestly the wee on site bar is so good you don't need to leave. The one negative is dinner isn't great iwever breakfast and lunch are fab. We'd have jumped at this deal if we weren't already booked for Tenerife.
Sorry, didn't read comments properly.
Geez must be difficult never leaving your home. Who brings you food etc?
Im in Turkey just now it feels as safe as any place just now. People don't realise how huge turkey as a country is.
I did the scratch test and it was green, so lets see what happens...
I love how I'm becoming the chief gardener on this thread (lol) . Bud's are preferable, but my plum like yours came completely bare but has already started showing signs of life, so just bear with it. I would love for some who got these trees to come back in a year or so to let's us know how they are all going.
Mine arrived yesterday 5 of them had sprouted some leaves/buds, only the Stanley plum was bare. Also none had branches, just the main trunk and looked like they had been snipped at the end. Is this normal?
6 fruit trees from a nursery at £4 each, its a no brainer (party)
tempted by this...decisions
Preferably with a pulse (lol)
A walk along the ‘Wolds Way’ is a treat too, this place is about half way along route.
The East Riding is the geographical size of London peeps.
Heat added Chanchi, looks beaut (y)
depends on your preference. large, hairy or scary?
:o All the most recent one are bad
Looks good - but very poor reviews on TripAdvisor!
Just about to book a £69 day and £79 day, which comes out to £109 for both nights rather than £99. Still a good deal. I'm about to book but it's adding another £5 as an admin fee and I can't work out what the charge is for. There's no explanation of it and I can't find anything about it on the website.
See you there hotmilks XD
Have you booked the room yet (y) ;) I can't wait to have a nice break away :)
Hello, may I kindly enquire if you have any trips to Inverkeithing?
Friends just went there, they loved it.
A la carte and Frankie & Bennies should never belong in the same sentence!! (lol)
A la Carte at F&B. What a joke. Recently got this deal from Wowcher. Wasn’t worth the money
Full menu. any starter apart from sharers or family starters (obviously) any main (sirloin and mixed grill are £3 extra)
An endless production line of Birthdays and Happy Birthday being played full blast through the restaurant. Apart from that it's good.
so what is the full menu then
You need to call to book - that's what's Wowcher mentioned. The salon itself looks decent for the price if location is convenient. Check out the reviews on Facebook and Treatwell.
Cold as merchant website looks horrible and seems not easy to book.
It is far for some people agree. It's the same for store specific offers etc - close for some, far for some.
No good bcoz of location is too far
Got this deal a mth ago direct through BT for some reason it said £11.49 per mth showed BT a screenshot they credited my account by £18 wasn't charged the £20 either
Read tech news BTSport will be available in Sky's package and the same vice versa it was announced ages ago
Good to know. (y) I haven't read the full article on it but what you said sounds more accurate - like how ESPN used to be sold on Sky years ago.
You are paying £9 to Wowcher purely to access the deal. The actual contract you'll end up paying is £12.99 for 12 months. There is a £20 additional "activation fee". You can get 3 months free HD, but it's an extra £6.50 per month from month 4 if you want to keep it.
Seems a strange time to do that. The start of the football season would make more sense
Chances are Wowcher's version will be original. Ebay can be hit and miss.
"Crushed Velvet" Have they had these lying around in the back of a warehouse since the 1970's by any chance??
Same pic and similar price on Ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CRUSHED-VELVET-DIVAN-BED-MEMORY-MATTRESS-HEADBOARD-3FT-4FT-4FT6-Double-5FT-/331863071010
Is a memory spring.... memory foam with spring base or just some dodgy spring mattress lol
Great find op keep up the good work....
If I order more then 1 why postage fees adding?...it is stil same address and they could deliver it at once is it not? (devil) :/ :(
I thought so too
Still cheap, ordered
Update: did a quick 5 min live chat and they're refunding me. :)
Even though I provided 30 days cancellation notice after 12 months, I appear to have been charged a further 25.99. I've worked it out and looking back at the bills, BT charged me 12 x 11.49 and then the 13th payment of 25.99!! And my BT Sport wasn't viewable surprisingly after the 12 months were up, so effectively I've been charged 25.99 for nothing. I haven't rang BT yet but it will be interesting what they say. So people check you bills after you cancel.
Can you also receive the AMC Channel which is part of the sports package only I don’t see it listed
Thanks, mmm’d and aaahh’d all day, signed up 15 mins into Liverpool Game and was watching 10 minutes later
You do as long as the voucher isn't redeemed... Anyone know of any better deals for an existing Sky subscriber (without changing Broadband package)
Code is not working now (annoyed)
Well whaddya know. Northern Ireland restaurants not included. I'll just spend my money on a Groupon deal for the Bengal Brasserie on Belfast's Ormeau Road instead.
None in Northern Ireland :| (mad) 😡
The quality varies wildly from restaurant to restaurant but largely I would say that in my experience it is generally quite nice when your order from the “ala carte” I have found that the breakfast and set menus are not very nice in the past. Not to put the cat among the pigeons but I would like to point out that if you pay less than a tenner a head for food and drink you can not expect it to be of a super high standard.... you pays your money you takes your choice! This deal deal is good value for money in my opinion. Heat added.
Hi. Any deals for 2 adults and one 3yr old? Thanks
I goto Blackpool twice a year, May for my birthday and September for the illuminations. Love it there. Millions is being spent on Blackpool. New Winter Gardens, new Hilton Hotel, 2 million pound rollercoaster, new tram line, plus much more.
Been a few times and plan to go a few more .Funny Girls was excellent the last time we went . Cant see where all the negativity towards Blackpool comes from its no worse than any seaside town and a lot better then most . You just have to accept it for what it is , if you dont like it dont go no need for all the negativity .
Lived there for 10 years... grim isn’t the word. I dread having to go back up there to visit family.
I loathe Wowcher. You have to give your email address to view anything and they then bombard you with emails.
I'm in Teesside, if there anyone wanting to go up for a stag do etc, they split up into smaller groups. I know York were getting fed up of people from Teesside!
mcd is just round the corner
Best not be here on a Saturday anyway, York is full of drunk geordies every Saturday now
Sorry cold as mine is not on the list. Why is it only some not All?
I complained about the calamari & the Manager brought out a huge bag of frozen calamari to me to prove it was calamari. My complaint had been that it was undercooked and soggy...
Great if you like receiving undercooked food, no service & the runs the next day! Cannot rate this deal low enough (poo)
Disgraceful service, just don't there if you are in a rush...nearly had to go into the kitchen to collect my food - and the place was empty!
Freshly prepared dishes..... after they've been defrosted of course
Good deal tempted
Read the sentence again with particular attention to the last part. I have no issue with people enjoying themselves as long as it doesn't negatively impact on others. The feral brats not being supervised whilst their parents were loudly shouting at each other over a steady intake of warm Carling and copious packs of B&H were negatively impacting on others I e the majority of the 'pods' on the campsite..
The previous comment doesn’t sound very ‘live and let live’. Why consider glamping when your ivory tower will suffice?
I am happy to live and let live as long as one doesn't bother anyone else. Sadly in my experience, many do not share that view.
We've stayed in two pods in different places and loved both. There were more dogs than kids when we went and they were equipped with basic furniture, electric and heating. Both times they were spaced apart quite well. We'd use them again. Heat added :)
Expired now, thanks for posting
"Bubbly" means not a lot either... anyone for Lambrini? :-(
"Bottomless bubbly available for 1.5 hours, subject to availability based on management discretion." So not bottomless then (but on the plus side, you can always claim that the manager has cut off your mum's bubbly supply as soon as it looks like she's going to try and start an impromptu mum karaoke sing-a-long.) (:I
This is a great treat at a great price (highfive)
'even more sumptuous surroundings' If they're offering that much drink, I feel it might not stay that way for too long... XD
Absolutely brilliant zoo and a great price too
What's the code? I wonder if they're selling unlimited use codes
Yes its not as good as I first thought, just ordered 2 pizzas and used 1 voucher the total came to £9.98 for Dominos and £4.99 for the voucher. On the plus side you can add the stuffed crust to the pizzas and they are still £4.99. I wonder how many pizzas you can add for £4.99 with a single voucher.
Cold they don't deliver to Belfast 🤣🤣🤣
Just purchased voucher for £4.99 then gone into Domino's to order and they are also charging £4.99 therefore that's £9.98 for a pizza!!! Not what I was expecting maybe it's just me?
is this legit, why do i need to pay via wowcher and not dominoes?
'3 hour spa day'... 🤔
Workington is a fairly industrial area but it's not a long drive (20-40mins) to the Western Lakes eg Cockermouth, Keswick or Ennerdale.
seems lobsided to me
Didn't think about that!
One problem; it will be full of wowcherers, and hot dealers !!! ;)
Hi just had a day at the York one, on being to many Spas have experienced lots I would not be returning to this one. Yes the Jacuzzi was nice and the 2 saunas plus 1 steam room. What an extortionist price for hire of slippers and robes ( luckily we took our own ) but heard a few Ladies also complaining of how Not so comfortable they were think they need to invest in a good Fabric Softener. The spinners in the changing rooms 2 neither working. No bags to put wet gear in so hence you end up with your sports bag dripping. Not only these were uncomfortable crickey the covers on the Beauty beds felt like concrete. I was Not cosy at all during my treatments so hard and crunchy. My therapist was the worse I have ever experienced and I was not informed of anything she was using during my treatments (which I usually am ). I couldn't smell anything she used at all which is very unusual No fragrance at all. Also No oils burning anywhere upstairs in the Spa area or in any of the Treatment rooms absolutely Nothing. No Ambience No Ahhh's only the dam horrible fake candles. The chill room was nice with the heated sloping mosque beds but again No smells in there whatsoever. Of all the Spa's I have been to there has always been Aromatherapy smells around the spa and chilling and treatments areas. That's why its a Spa to chill you . I did let them know at customer service of my issues as this was a Upgraded Gift and it wasn't cheap. was told to go on line and send email of my complaints ( sure have ) (shock)
Well, that's helpful. Perhaps you'd care to link the deals that are nicer and better than the one the OP kindly posted.
Cheaper at Buyagift plus 12.12% cashback at TCB if it tracks. ;)
I've been to the Birmingham one twice now and both times were rubbish. Not worth the money, there are far nicer spas and better deals on wowcher/groupon
Anyone else come here for Bayonetta 2?
Actually cold from me it excludes most of the latest films including tomb raider
Heat from me is my local is only cheap on mondays.
Thanks for the info Fiyero, much appreciated.
There was no booking fee when I used it - they now include that in the ticket price anyway online
i love carvery and we used to go to toby carvery quite regularly but we haven't been for a while now as i stopped fancying going out to dinner. was just thinking about them this afternoon so this may be enough to prompt me to go there again some time soon (y)
Me no understand?.
Possibly the worst meal I've ever had. Well overpriced at 7.50!
guys you can see better price on those websites but I doubt it includes breakfast and spa
nice hotel and staff not a lot around though
£44 on hotel.com
better price via hotels.com
Be prepared to be surrounded by a wedding party. Would not return to this hotel. Service is appalling.
Personally didn't enjoy my time in marrakech, I liked the hustle and bustle of the markets and seeing the square come alive at night, but the very hard sells in the markets were just the worse. I don't even look like the generic tourist but damn do they cling to you. 3 nights is probably long enough for marrakech, the locals in agadir however are far more chill and laid back.
Yes, I explained that yours was useful. Hence I know what an opinion is.
More an observation to be honest based on a trip there. Each to there own, my taste doesn’t necessarily dictate what others should do. It’s an opinion, you know what one of them is do you not?
Keep slagging it off then, please :D
I'm proud to be 'uncool' then
