This is what I meant, £16 is a bargain for a single tow off the motorway heaven forbid

I'd like to see you get a towing service out for £16 :) It should be illegal to call a friend/family member to tow a car off a motorway - these people who do it take their lives in their hands.

My mistake, but you're right about the service, I chose them cause of the driver power survey combined with the price.

Make sure to read the small print, also lots of stories about expensive auto renewals.

Presume you. Could pay for the third child at child rate. Assuming it's cheaper.

We’re a family of 2 adults 3 children, if I bought this would I then need to pay full price for one of us?

This is a superb deal, make no mistake. Though I've costed a trip to Matlock for example for 2 adults and 2 kids and it comes to £71.80 - not quite the £84 claimed (that's probably the highest cost at one of the sites I am guessing).

There's an admin fee charge of a £1 which has to be added to the price of the deal??

We went beginning of April last year & the weather was lovely and warm

From £299 pp. Rather vague, most of the holidays start at a lower price. Depends when you go. Ryanair starts from £9.99, try to find this price during school holidays...This would have been a good price in peak season, but at that time is more than double price, plenty of all inclusive for that price.

I paid £350 for 4 of us to go to Croatia in a 5* hotel granted it's not all inclusive but that's £1250 cheaper than this deal. If you shop around you can get really good deals. Most of the dates when people want to go on this deal are coming up at £500-£600pp which is not a good deal for 1 week in Croatia

It includes return flight, 7 days in 4* hotel and all the food even if it less than £400 I think it is a good deal....

Hey, wait a minute, I don't have any intention of misleading members. I copy/pasted from the Deal post link at the time, at least, I assume that's what happened. The main Deal post link Expired days ago. The Glasgow link is still live (and it's apparent from my posts on here I was confused about why there were separate links) which does end on the 31st. I can only assume I got mixed up somewhere. Wowcher could have them all on the one link, but maybe that's why.

Post was very misleading! The description here states the vouchers end 31st December 2018 when in fact they expired on the 2nd December 2018!

The main link has expired, but the Glasgow link is still Live...

Not for a few months no, plenty of places I've been to in London don't charge that price or more. People need to broaden their horizons and actually explore the city. Edit: Just remembered I was only in London a couple of months ago for work, Westminster area. Found a good pub nearby, was about £4.50 for an ale. Expected price.

have you ever been out for beer in London?!

I love BrewDog, and since some of their beers are only served as 1/3 pint measures, but can easily cost over a fiver each, even excluding the wings, the price could easily be seen as very keen - especially is other beers, like Very Big Moose were included :) ... HOWEVER ... Ignoring Newcastle, Leeds, and Sheffield, is a VERY poor show! Wise up James, sort it oot

Ah, nostalgia! 2009 and back then I really wanted one of these, for the cool design. Apple somehow managed to make even plastic, polycarbonate, look good. I wouldn't have expected it to be able to run Mojave but I'm impressed that it can run High Sierra. I miss the white polycarbonate models. If they were grade A rather than Grade B and if they were selling it with 4GB of memory and had new batteries at that price, I would kind of be tempted, just to be able to fit it with an SSD, functional nostalgia. I think the price is a little on the high side for a bulk reseller, if grade B. The A1342 model is selling on eBay at good prices - make sure you enter '9400M' in your search - and a lot of them out there, I imagine some well looked after but I doubt holding much charge on the battery, though it looks easy enough to unscrew the base and carefully replace the battery and hard drive, using an ifixit guide.

I have a 2011 MacBook and I upgraded the ram and put in a ssd. It runs like a dream. The upgrades cost me less than £200 so if you can get a decent price on an older model consider it and upgrade the hardware

Given the processor of 2.26GHz, this is a 2009 Model with a 9400M GPU. 10.12 is Sierra, not High Sierra and this will not run the current OS Mojave without some hacking. I am mostly impressed with the £50 required to take the 2GB supplied RAM to 4GB. That's like Apple pricing.

It's only really been the last few that caused problems. Everything up until they started naming the updates after mountains had been fine. In my experience key things I need like my VPN client, extntfs or Citrix receiver would occasionally fall over if you downloaded an update too soon. It would take these companies a week or two to catch up with changes apple had made, but if you left your OS more than 2 or 3 updates overdue then the same programs would fall over because they require an update of your OS to osx 10.xxxx.

Why didn't you refuse some of those Software updates to your former 2010 macbook, or whatever?. (Thereby potentially elevating some of future hardware woes? - so to speak). Or is the MacOS like the Window's OS now? (in that you're forced to 'accept' updates, irrespective of whether you like it or not, etc?)

The Second being Dudley

Animal prison

I agree, however wher do you set them free? Man needs to stop killing them first. In March this year, The last wild Northern White Rhino male died, there are 2 females left. This basically would be another great animal extinct, this and many other species, if there werent some that are basically protected by being in zoos. Zoos need to change still, there are definitely issues with roaming space, but for now they are the only way species are surviving.

I don't know how they rare highly when everyone says the animals seem uncomfortable. I also went and felt the same. They look miserable.

Incorrect. My XE303 received an update from ChromeOS 68 to 69 only this morning. Yes, it has passed Google's obligation to update but it ain't dead yet. [btw product was released in 2012]. While I am not going to dump mine - I wouldn't buy one at any price.

To be fair, the ones at £109 are 'used-like new'. But I probably would go with Amazon anyway.

Cheap, but this is an outdated model which was released in 2013 so will start showing its age (performance wise), and doesn't receive updates any longer (and no security updates = a massive risk): Chromebook - XE303 Auto Update Expiration = Jul 2018 "When a device reaches Auto Update Expiration (AUE), it means that the product model is considered obsolete and automatic software updates from Google are no longer guaranteed." Is not listed as a Chromebook supported to run Android apps either Personally I'd rather use an old WIndows laptop with Windows 10 on it which keeps receiving updates instead of an unsupported Chromebook. Still, very cheap indeed

Just a warning. Our experience the year before last at Drayton manor for Christmas was pretty awful. We had a pre-scheduled time to see ‘the big man’. There were five of us (mum, dad & three kids). We queued for over an hour in the cold and despite having arrived ten minutes before our allotted time, were pretty hacked off by the time we went in. The queue was outside and we were frozen stiff. When we got in we were rushed through. We had about a minute in the room with FC. The presents were terrible. It was all very poor. Also, many/most of the rides were shut. Not the magical time we were expecting.

Ewwww, too soon - we haven't even had Hallowe'en yet! Thanks for sharing anyway - have some heat! (party)

They shut all the big rides anyway.I think in November, same as Alton towers shuts. Their sleep over has no rides. It is classed as out of season. Personally don't rate the place thomas land isnt all its cracked up to be. But they havent stopped the thrill rides just because they have added a wowcher offer lol & for a santa style sleep over its pretty cheap compared with others.

I am from Durham and love my "normal" accent. The hotel is very nice, 2 min walk from the main city areas. Parking is not too expensive on the road and free after 6pm. yes building works next door, but not at night and weekends - so not an issue. Some view from the hotel overlook the cathedral and castle - alt - walk out the the hotel - cross the foot bridge and walk 8 mins.

Daft question but does anyone know if you can book 2 nights at this price per night?

What an idiot , Accents make the area you are visiting even more enjoyable. Durham is a beautiful place and one I would have no problems visiting again .

Durham locals have a very normal sounding accent and easy to understand unlike some other accents in the northeast. One of the Most beautiful little place in NE. Very rich in culture. It's a shame they are modernising the city

I bought the previous version of this vacuum (FD22G) from Direct Vacuums in June last year. Decent enough for the price and does the job it was intended for (quick clean up of dog hair instead of getting the corded Dyson out every day). BUT - it's now on its third battery. Don't know if this is because they're refurbed (battery and vacuum itself) or down to an inherent fault in the design/manufacture. Direct Vacuums are very helpful though, and supplied the replacement batteries free of charge every time.

This 'looks' just like the equivalent Dyson, but much cheaper. Too many poor reviews on Amazon though, will give it a miss I think. 3.1* is just not worth the risk

The Escort cosworth was definitely that king off the road back in the day,for its class anyway. Such a shame that the new generation of RS’s are a shadow of their former self.If it weren’t for stand out colours you'd be hard pressed to spot a mk3 Focus RS driving down the road as it looks so close to a normal focus and ridiculously close to an ST. IMO cars like that need to look a bit mad/like they are on steroids, hence why i still drive a Mitsubishi Evo X.

Out of a long list of hot hatch cars I've had the Fiesta XR2 Mk1 is my favourite, not the fastest and not the best equipped (just a AM radio) but probably because I was driving a 998cc 1972 Mini before it!

I still want an escort Cossie. One of these days. Still my favourite car

I had a few RS turbos back in the 90's. A couple of S1's and 3 S2's. One of the S2's had a Zetec bottom end conversion and was over 240bhp,which for the time was decent power,it certainly showed up some Cosworths :D

Lost part of my exhaust once the same way - downhill through a dip with five lads in on the way to paintball - grounded doing about 70mph.

Please could you tell me how I get the hd part back on? Just had my 3 months hd free and cancelled using online chat, logged back into my bt account but can't find any option to add the hd part back on for free again? Would really appreciate any help. Thank you

Just thought id try this with champions league on & tried the link and it comes up at £13.99 per month, HD free for 3 months then £6.50 per month from month 4 still to expensive in my opinion. Once had it very cheap on a 30 day rolling contract with free HD which didnt make it that bad of a deal.

Just went for the deal via the link that DarrylJohn posted, still working & cheaper than other options I could find, cheers DJ!

SKY definitely getting BT sports after Christmas???!

Just done the deal via the link. It’s a 12 month contract No connection charge £13.99 a month and free hd for 3 months. Much better than dealing direct for £27.99 a month with £20-35 connection charge. The best bt could offer me direct was free for 3 months then 27.99 for the latter 9. Thanks for posting this (y)

Spotted this on wowcher and thought it was a great offer considering it's valid at pretty much all locations. Love me some mexican food, so a bit biased on this one, but consideri… Read more

Gone for it, thanks

The deal is good, if u stick to what the deal is but have u gone out and not had a drink, or looked at your partner and said no you cant have this or that, stick to the deal. No chance you get what you want and that costs. Thats all i said, yea my fault for saying order what u want, but £280 on top of 6 deals at £120 i think is ott price wise for not great, but not crappy, food.

What is your point though? The deal was £19.95. You spent outside the £19.95 and you paid the difference.

Coke is £3.50, most spirits/cocktales £5/£6 and not everybody wanted the £10 main meals so u pay diff. To say i thought it pricey is an under statement and the burgers aint that great.

£400!?! You buying drinks for the whole place?

Not too impressed with the menu.. otherwise looks a good deal

Isn't 'Martin Mere' nearby, that's worth a visit. Also there used to be a Sunday Antique fair in area, get there early for the bargains.

There's some miserable people. How about rivington? They even have a go ape. There is Cuerden valley, yarrow valley. Some nice restaurants not too far away. Foot golf and karting not far off. I quite like it round here. There is a canal not too far off with pubs a plenty.

It’s not too far away from Martin mere wetlands. Cannot think of another reason to spend any time here

I think they require a completely new payment as well. Also sometimes you think it’s worked but they cancel your order and shut your account and you’ll just be waiting for delivery all day.

Simple.... Almost everything I ordered was on offer, like a load of haagen dazs 2 for £5, chicken and fish also on offers like 2 for £7 (embarrassed) And the first shop offer of 30% off

Did not work for wine :/

How did you manage that??

I just joined up and did my first shop with them the other night, made great use of their current offers...... £102 worth of items delivered for £35 :-D Oh, and a free gift offered on checkout, only a wall food planner thing.
