Not a bad price for a relatively new Switch game! Own this on my PS4 which is very fun but not sure how it holds up on the switch. Not expecting this to be voted hot but this is the est price I've seen though

It's a shame theirs literally zero confidence been injected into the news about 2k wanting to fix this game on switch.. As I'd take a punt and buy it then play when it's fixed. But as they haven't done anything to fix it as of yet.. Im not willing to take the risk. Shame as this as a portable game would be brilliant for the collection

I feel exactly the same, really enjoyable to play on console version with friends so this game portably on paper sounds perfect but from what I've read it needs some work to fix bugs.

They barely sort any issues with the main PS4 and Xbox versions , so it doesn’t surprise me the switch version is receiving little to none in the way of fixes. I love wwe , but I really wish this license was handed to a new developer and publisher , i would much prefer the one game every 2 to 3 years supplemented with paid roster updates instead of yearly releases that offer little difference to the previous game in the same way fifa and madden do with theirs.
Not that I’m defending the game/port/developers in any way, but the recent patch supposedly had a great improvement on the 1-v-1 mode. Personally, for less than £20, I think I could live with that.

Any more than two characters, however, and it’s still a car crash.

It did virtually nothing game still plays like Garbage and is still unplayable with more than 1vs1

Don't buy this game, it's a terrible port, the frame rate is a joke

Every couple of years I give another wwe game a go and they always seem to have the same problem of it just not being much fun. CAW always seems to laggy to tinker with it the way I'd like to. I don't know how much is rose tinted hindsight but they seem to have never improved on the PS1 Smackdown games

To be honest I can totally see how you’ve come to that conclusion. The main problem is complacency, as there isn’t any competition in the western markets that will produce a mainline wrestling game. Indie promotions don’t have the money to get a developer good enough to do the genre any kind of justice. The only exception being the fire pro series but even that series is pretty niche due to the aesthetic. And I’m still sceptical the latest fire pro is ever going to see a release on PS4 in the west as was promised but instead fading in to obscurity and only being on PC.

For me, wrestling games peaked in the late nineties when THQ were publishing the AKI-developed games, like WCW/nWo Revenge and No Mercy (deftly glossing over WrestleMania 2000). Those games were so insanely refined, the mechanics still hold up to this day.

Then Yuke’s came along with WWE SmackDown et al, featuring a shoddy/bastardised version of the AKI mechanics, but to this day people remain blinded by all the bells and whistles, when the core grappling is utter balls. It just feels bad.

Anyway! Is Fire Pro on the PS4 happening in Japan? I managed to wade through a couple of Japanese games (D on the Dreamcast and G on the PSOne) with the help of a FAQ.

There is currently a full release on steam in English called fire pro wrestling world .it was slated for a PS4 release last summer if I remember correctly in the U.S and Europe , but still nothing.
Is 2K16 still platable?
Please don't waste you're money on this, the Switch port is awful. Watch a gameplay video on Youtube, honestly it's shocking that Nintendo still sell this on their eshop.
