Waiting for the it's fake comments. Yet these people sit and watch coronation street and movies like fast and furious.
For anyone itching to get back into wrestling but not keen on the current WWE, another big money promotion started last year called AEW and you might prefer it, I know I do, because it feels much more like 90s WWF, less sanitised, more rough around the edges, even has Jim Ross on commentary. They have a weekly show called AEW Dynamite and the roster includes Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Dean Ambrose, Matt Hardy, Neville, Cody Rhodes among many others. Worth taking a look.
Heat @merb0786

This has been available since Mania at least - all the old PPVs etc. free, just the newest bits and bobs requiring you to have an active subscription. Odd they're just putting out PR today.
Mad hot in 10 min
Great. WCW time
Will this include the Taker documentary? Managed to watch the first 3 via "other sources". Still 2 more to go.

Agreed. Have loved the first 3 episodes. Shows what a monumental effort it took to keep the character going for so many years. The YouTube Last Ride Post Mortem show after each episode is pretty good too.

I grew up watching Taker and as much as he is old-school and maintains that mystique around his character, it is refreshing to see him break kayfabe and show his real side. (Albeit it is weird to see it too lol)

GOAT i might add.

For me it was always Taker and The Ultimate Warrior who made WWF/WWE growing up. Man I miss those days....

Loved the battle between WWF and WCW but you always knew Vince would get his way! Maybe I'm showing my age but I would always put the years preceding that as my favourite.
What?

Hey Yo
Wcw / nWo & attitude era pushed the boundaries some of the earlier wrestling in the 80 and 90's was great though

WCW invasion angle could have been better but made for entertaining viewing.

At the time and still now (don't watch it much) i wished he didn't as in my opinion he ruined it - there was just 1 product to watch - his and that took away alot from fans
But he did just what he did in the 80's so its not surprising
I would love it to go back to the days of many wrestling promotions

One of the downsides of growing up I guess. You stop believing in fantasy, storytelling and imagination and start worrying about mortgages and taxes

I kind of guessed it wouldn't be included. Would be good for the older content though. Thanks for checking!

Bad news on that front too I’m afraid. Seems all the episodes of Raw/Smackdown from before 2020 are locked as well. Looks like it’s pretty much what you get on their youtube channels from what I’m seeing.

Looks that way. Half wondering if the software I have will still download it without a sub. May give it a go.
Finally a use for the WWE button on my Roku

I loved the “slightly older” WWF, Randy Savage, Hart Foundation, Mr Perfect. Most of my faves are dead now 😩

AEW and NxT are the best shows of the week. Raw and Smackdown are horrible to watch these days.

I pay for the AEW-Plus subscription through FiteTV, works out between £3-£4 per month to watch the episodes live, not even sure what their TV deal is over here anymore, but it's worth the few quid that's for sure. I've even been buying the PPV's, the wrestling is just so much better IMO, it's not filled with car-crash TV entertainment like WWE mostly is these days (just look at what the Street Profits and Viking Raiders currently doing, cringe)
